I have a long time ago. I had to re-subscribe when I got my new Tablet. I have enjoyed your adventures and I try and absorb everything you tell us for my next cruise in August next year New York to Canada on a Princess Cruise Ship. I’ve subscribed to the channel a while ago and I still get alerts of new videos, as a 52 years old Irish gay man in the U.K. (Manchester) who goes home to family in Rural Ireland frequently on SailRail via Holyhead - Dublin, especially on my favourite cruise ferry, the Irish Ferries Ulysses, where I highly recommend paying the €18 extra for the Club Class Lounge, even though it’s only a 3 hours 15 mins crossing - I don’t recommend the Dublin Swift Fast Ferry as the ride is too rough, even in calm seas, even in Club Class, as this ferry is more likely to get cancelled if there is rough weather on the Irish Sea and I’ve been doing this crossing for 21 years in both summer and winter, daytime and overnight - I’m not really a fan of the Stena Adventurer, although the Irish Ferries WB Yeates and Isle of Inishmore are good alternatives - in terms of getting to Holyhead, I’d recommend Avanti Trains Wales and Northern Rail as far as Chester or Lladnuo in Wales - Transport For Wales trains are generally very busy and very small with the exception of the Mk 4 train from Cardiff to Holyhead which calls at Lladnuo, a better change point than Chester - on arrival at Dublin Port (North Wall) be very aware that transport options into Dublin City Centre are quite limited, even from the Irish Ferries Terminal, as not even the LUAS Trams go into Connolly Station and you will have problems with mobile phones in the port area, the nearest Irish Rail station being Dublin Docklands for the M3 Parkway trains via Broombridge and Clonsilla on the Sligo line from Dublin Connolly - the National Express 871 overnight coach from London Victoria via Birmingham can be an option, as once off the ship at Dublin will drive direct to Dublin Busaras Coach station, but the Irish government are planning to improve this in the coming months

Fun fact about chocolate: The Aztecs ate it, they drank it, and made it into sauces. Turkey and chocolate sauce is one of the dishes they ate, and our medieval re-creation group included it in one of our feasts - it was really good.

Kristiansand, not to be mistaken for Kristiansund which is also great is a pretty city. I recommend the ferris wheel, it lets you see the entire place and is great fun. It's pretty well known to Norwegians who go on holiday as the ferries to Denmark leave from there. Norway takes cards everywhere.

It's wonderful to be able to treat our mums (or dads) to experiences like this - they are times you will always treasure. I lost my lovely mum last year, but I feel so happy when I remember all the trips we went on together ❤ Love that mum is heading out to get cocktails on her own....no hanging around waiting for you pair to get your acts together 😆 Can't wait for the rest of the cruise!

Not only do I agree, but I also can see that there are plenty of chances on this cruise to see the quieter parts of the ship - although most of these passengers will go off on onshore excursions and are generally an older and quieter crowd, what I love most about this cruise is that there are no children on board, which is always a plus for me, which on a relaxing cruise the last thing that you want to be experiencing is screaming kids which ruins the cruise experience - it’s the same with an all-gay cruise which as an older gay man myself, I’d never dream of doing, as for me, cruising is a spiritual experience, a chance to unwind, relax and recharge the batteries

Norway is awesome! Just got home from Norway/Iceland cruise. Norway ports were beautiful, Bergen, Alesund, Olden and Trondheim.

I collect Christmas ornaments on every trip I take. If it doesn’t have the year I will place the year and I have a special Christmas tree that I put out every Christmas and I hang all of my ornaments. It’s not very bulky and it’s so fun to Look through the Christmas tree on every Christmas and reminisce about all of the trips I took.
