Flam is nestled right at the end of one of the branches of the Sognefjord - Norway’s longest and deepest fjord. A small port surrounded by steep mountains, Flam is often a highlight for many cruise passengers on a seven-night Norwegian fjords cruise. Flam epitomises the essence of Norway: friendly people, spectacular views, and a relaxed atmosphere.
A big bonus when visiting Flam is that formal shore excursions are not necessary for you to enjoy a memorable experience in port. Flam is a wonderful port for exploring independently and an easy one to navigate.

@@CruiseWithAmber the Railway and the zip line have it for me. We done a few Vlogs from earlier this year and I thought I had seen it all in Norway but this place is something else. Shame the ship only stays for 1 day.

@@CruiseLife22 It's not been on a lot of Itineraries form the UK laterly - usually Holland America, Britannia, MSC, AIDA and some others call there. But P&O will be making it a regular stop on Iona in 2025 which is excellent news!

Amazing video!!! We will be in Flam at the end of September. Do you know if you can get off on the railway or is it just a scenic ride? Also, how long is the ferry ride to the fjords? Do we need to buy tickets in advance? We wanted to see the fjords and see the city as well. Thank you

I wish I had gone up like this when I went to Flǎm with my family. I now have recurring dreams about the Sebastian View point, because I didn’t know about it until NOW. I probably won’t see them anymore since now I know what they were about. I’m glad I knew about Fïord Safari, which was fantastic.
