I love how you can hear his wife inside at the end, “You are so bossy.”😂

What a fantastic speech, knowledge and full of patriotism integrity and honor well done. He understands my sorrows.

I think he's saying he doesn't like the weather and you should come inside. Don't argue because he is right!!

What a cutie! I had a doxie but he passed 2 years ago, still tear up just thinking about him. Someone at my dad's diner heard about our loss and said he was looking for a family for his dog. When she arrived - voila! A 9 month old basset hound. She's 2 now and taking her in was one of the best decisions we ever made. They're, friendly, loving, gentle, and so demanding lol. Thanks for sharing this video! So funny and adorable!

When our basset would walk backwards, we'd make that beep-beep-beep sound big trucks do. Man, i didn't want to be a dog mom. I didnt want a dog that smells a lot. But Rudy was a blessing. Changed my life forever, and taught me so much.

For sure! We miss our Max…We had to let him go about two months ago. Very sad day

The dog shambles onto the porch and looks around squinting "What is all this bullshit out here?! Get back inside!"

As he slowly backs up through the door I can picture shifty eyes 👀 saying “I’m watching you, always watching...”

Janel King absolutely! We got Moose around the same time we had our little boy. They’re both about 12 years old now; and still the best of friends!

Basset Hound nails grow faster than other dogs so it isn’t like they’ve gone forever without being clipped. They are also at a pretty decent length at this point. They tend to grow out a bit more before curling back into the paw
