Jellyfish Update: It's a newly identified species of Jellyfish in the Irukandji family called a 'Keesingia Gigas' and seems to have a Commensalism Relationship with the little file fish, which means the small fish benefit by using the Jellyfish as protection and the Jellyfish is not affected :) Oh and they would cause a horrible sting to Humans, so don't touch! Thanks for watching, Strick

Awesome trivia, love learning while watching! I don't know much about your back stories, very cool information also about the Crown of thorns Starfish. It's pretty cool learning about your history and how you moved into youtubing full time. something you should do sometime!

There is no reason for a person to starve in seafood rich location environment like this. The scenery is beautiful above and below the water. I know this is a year old but I love you guys and thanks for taking us along on your journey.
I vote for marine biology episodes with Fran. That'd be awesome! Love learning things about ocean life!
Nice to hear about how you two met, and a little background. Thanks for sharing.
Marine biology with Fran is a good idea 👍
Marine biology with Fran should be a regular thing, I love hearing interesting things about the ocean/different species from you guys because you are witnessing it first hand
I've got to say, I really think the new boat is a great addition to the adventure's, like you said a lot less strain on y'all, as far as sleeping, keeping things dry, and every other aspect. You might rig up a rain water collection system, for fresh water. thanks for letting us tag along on your adventure's guys. Needless to say we love your videos.👍👍💕🐾

@god So basically, you're proud of being an internet troll/jerk? Wow, your mom must be so proud.
Captain Jack, I hope you never get used to your first mate. I hope you always see that special person who cooks like a pro, surfs like a fish on top of the water, can fish better than most men, has such a great knowledge of marine life and good lord, she is a siren. Beauty alone is empty until filled with personality and Fran has a ton of that. Love ya Fran!!
You two were probably the first humans the cub sea lions ever saw, maybe even the parents.

Anywhere would be amazing with Fran
Marine biology with Fran is a stunning idea!
Fran , you are so amazing that even the sea lions want to hangout with you. You guys are always taking us on such fantastic trips. Cheers!
I think this could be my favourite episode of all. It was great to hear both of you sharing a bit of your passion for reef conservation and the time with the sea lions was amazing. Thank you so much for making these videos.
Love going back over all these episodes and seeing species of fish . It’s insane we have no where near that many in the Gulf of Mexico with colors like that .i would never wanna leave your paradise ever.
Awesome, Fran & sea lions she was like a kid in a candy shop 😂 Could we please have a better look around the boat.
Fran and seals, what a lot of fun...
Omg, that seal lion experience was literally priceless. And the little babies are adorable 🥰
What an amazing episode! I love the marine biology facts and think they would be a nice regular addition. The sea lions, though!!!! Watching them play was so fun and the pure joy in Fran was priceless. For me, the more animals I see, the happier, I am. Last but not least, dusk with salt air and ocean breeze. That scene was so nostalgic that I could almost feel it. Thank you again for sharing your adventures. --Jessica from Florida 🌞
Amazing pictures of the sea lions, thank you so much. Greetings from Germany - Baltic Sea.
I think that once the fish swim inside the jellyfish, they are a meal. 🤔 The puppy dogs of the sea. 👍 I'm so happy for you and your new boat. 🤟
As an aquarist and conservationist, I love seeing the healthy habitats yall visit and one day, I will make my way to your side of the world to see it first hand. Thank you for taking us with you. When I was stationed in the Indian Ocean, the reefs and wildlife were absolutely amazing. I do wish there was an effective way to remove all that trash 😔 Also, as long as you aren't wasting the shark...ie finning...taking them responsibly is perfectly fine. Cheers! 🍻
That pasta dish looked delicious! Fran your cooking skills are unsurpassed!!! 🙂
you two could make episodes out of a dugout canoe and we'd still love every minute!🥰
I appreciate the marine biology lessons you offer. Please keep it up.
It’s so beautiful being in such pristine water. Most likely the jelly fish is digesting these little tiny fishes.
that seal is so playful almost like a playful dog ..that was so amazing!!
I absolutely love your videos. I swear that I replayed the connection with the seal like 18 times. absolutely beautiful.....I recently lost my mom, but your expeditions brings me joy. I Played one of your videos while she was in the hospital and she freaking loved it. That was the only video she watched, but know she is most likely your guardian angel.YOU both bring joy into my life.
Unbelievably fantastic content guys, Fran,s interaction with the seal lions was just beautiful. The passion you both have for the ocean is truly inspirational. Love it.👍👍
Magic encounter with Sea Lions. Sunset and spaghetti dinner to cap off a beautiful day. 😍
Quick hack for cutting cherry tomatoes, place them in a plastic lid and then put another lid on top, slice through the space between them and all you meters are cut in two!
That sea lion play session was absolutely amazing. Fran really relates!

I think Francesca actually wants a dog on the boat, Maybe Strick said no?
So loved the interactions with the sea lions... Fran's enthusiasm for nature is just so wonderful to watch... You are a lucky man Strick!!!
There must be some pretty good storms and waves that come through the area to build up that big berm of smashed corals. The big waves probably go right over the island. Seal lion footage is great, but if the sea lion is having a bad day, I am sure they could deliver a serious bite. That thin waxing crescent moon is beautiful, but “backwards” compared to the Northern Hemisphere, where the crescent leans the other way. That is what our waning crescent looks like just before sunrise, 2 or 3 days before a new moon.
Fresh fish new boat happy days ...and a bit of Jacques Cousteau to boot.I love this channel....and no 44 gallon drum of gas ......very cool...that was so OG..
I look forward to your channel and try to be patient! Every time it's a pleasant surprise and I learn something new. Top notch you guys.
Incredible underwater scenery, stunning. Great adventure on the new boat. Thanks Genesis. The playful sea lions were fantastic. Awesome Fran makes Strick look good.

Cavorting with the seals was really cool!
They have a symbiosis with the fish. And the fish are covered with a film that protects them against the jellyfish. The fish keep out parasites, and the jelly helps to protect and feed the fish. David Attenborough taught me that.
Absolutely beautiful. The sea lion, Fran, the jellyfish. Thank you.
Crazy awesome. Love the marine biology facts and tidbits. I’ll probably never ever come close to this kind of life as a land locked Canadian so it’s awesome to see what the raw side of it looks like!
You guys totally should add more marine lessons here and there, its fascinating!
Strick you live a Frantastic life buddy !
Crazy good episode guys, and it’s common to see juvenile species of some fish using jellyfish for protection, very common amongst juvenile golden trevally not only using jellyfish but many species of shark and rays and it’s a classic symbiotic relationship generally more beneficial to the smaller of the two species, a bit more marine biology for viewers!
Excellent episode! Well done! What luck to run in to those sea lions. But you two were so pumped, it's contagious..
That was a very cheeky sea lion great footage cheers 👍👍
Marine Biology with Fran for the win!!
One of your most enjoyable episodes. Im appreciating the diversity of your adventures! Also its so good hearing Fran telling the story a lot more now as well! You’re a great team. Thanks!!
I'm so happy y'all have the new boat...I'm sure she gives you a sense of security...she's beautiful :) This was an amazing vlog with those amazing sea lions...
The marine biology segment with both of you guys was a great addition!
Hahaha when she says at least some one is kissing me hahaha classic xx
So nice to see such a healthy reef system!
Gorgeous little sea puppies! What an amazing experience - thanks for sharing it! Definitely a yes to more marine biology with Fran.
What a treat playing with the sea lions. Stick you're not being very gentlemanly asking Fran lots of questions when she's trying to get her scram eaten! Loving the new boat, really seems to be a great fit for you.

gotta love you Aussies! So many good Aussie outdoor adventure channels out there and this one no exception. And I always wanted to visit the west coast. Someday....as you say "good on ya". Bravo.
I have stopped watching TV, hooked on certain US and Japanese catch and cooks. I am now hooked on your format especially the sights, the fact you only take what you eat..the biology and of course the underwater filming is epic..you make a great team Kia ora from Hawkes Bay NZ
YAKMAN HERE . LOVE ALL OF YOUR episodes , especially when you guys go treasure hunting on the beaches and mud crabbing, you’re right the sea lions are like little puppies they’re so cute, not quite as cute as Fran, yo homeboy you better tie the knot soon with this beautiful woman before one of those she lies get a hold of her lol😂. I would like to say personally that you too do a great job together and I love the new boat, always looking forward to the next new show, you too Have a blessed day, until next time.❤❤
Phenomenal episode! Thoroughly enjoyed learning & gave me smiles ☺️🇨🇦
This episode was amazing! I'd love to see more science talk and facts about the fish, other sea creatures and coral you guys come across.
// fran's interaction with the sealion was super amazing, like playing with a joyful dog. 🦭 very cool.
Wow, what an adventure! Thanks so much for taking us along. I think you got the good out of the "Salty Dingo". This new boat opens up much more for you two.
I like the Sea Lions, so cute and friendly.
I do look forward to your videos guys. Love learning a bit about marine science too. Would love to hear more from Fran in episodes with her marine science background. Also Strick did you say your sister is studying a PhD? Would be a great to find out about the jellyfish friending or digesting the little ones? One another note would love a video to hear more about your backgrounds education / study / life before YT. You both have such amazing knowledge and life experience. All the best and thanks for producing some epic content!
Guys. Wonderful as per usual. I admit, I’m in love with Fran, the brains and bod…she’s a natural for this! ( #luckybastardstrick )And your lifestyles….perfect. Strick , you have a gift for this. So easy to watch and listen. Each episode, I walk away a little more educated….and focused on getting out there myself. So damn much to see. Cannot wait for every new vid. Take care, keep it up. Your Southernmost fan. Rob J, Tasman Peninsula, Tasmania.
I miss Australia. I didn't enjoy like this but Australia was an amazing 2.5 years I spent there. New Zealand is gorgeous
Beautiful views , beautiful living world ! Just fire! 👌👍😘😍
That sea lion experience was just gorgeous 💜 Does anyone know what type of jellyfish that was(the one with the small fish inside it)? It was so interesting! xx

Hello 👋how are you doing?
I have to ask; why do you always wear a dive suit, even though the water appears to be nice and warm?
@alyssastead6202
Ай бұрын
Well one good reason is protection! The ocean has many hazards, and the dive suit can stop you being stung by jelly fish, sea urchins, or stingrays. Not to member if you get bit by a fish or small shark. Coral reefs are also exceptionally sharp, much more dangerous than they look!
@alyssastead6202

OMG @fran you have magical talent and character!
The small fishes inside the jellyfish are a simple example of symbiosis.
This is my new fav channel!
Thats sooooo cool footage guys of sea lion Pups , was incredibly to watch. Love the new boat that looks solid and safe for two to explore in .
LOL Fran disco dancing with the Seal .
I was lucky enough to spend over 30 yrs as professional diver spend so many days shared with amazing seals, eels, cuttle fish etc etc your adventures bring back so many memories now doing it in SE Qld for pleasure. Absolutely, my pleasure. You guys have a great channel. Entertaining, educational and full of adventure!!
I agree with Fran about the jelly fish intends to eat the small fish. But also believe the little go inside the jelly fish for protection. Great video, but I love all your videos. New boat 🚣♂️ looks great, much better than your old boat. Take care.
That was awesome!! Fran your so brave !! Y'all is my favorite on youtube!!
You have a very beautiful first mate. One lucky guy
I would give anything to live a life like this. Simply beautiful.
~11:00 why yes more marine biology!, 5:26 beautiful video...and your big smiles shows how much your new Genesis Craft boat has added to your B2B adventures!!
😄😄😄, baby seals adorable. Cool looking island.
you guys are living in paradise !
For sure the jellyfish is digesting the little fishes, but the little fishes are driving the jellyfish, they are connected to the neural net work. Y’all are amazing, thank you for all the videoed, don’t stop!
Probably my favourite episode and I've watched PLENTY! As you guys say, So cool! You should jump on board with a mental health program. I am managing a depressive condition and watching you two lovely people helps a great deal :) Thanks so much, keep going.
Awesomeness continues Happyness Freedom hooraa Great day
Uploads on both channels! Love it!!!
Would love to see a marine biology segment with Fran!!!!!!!!
I really enjoy watching these two sweethearts ... I just started following a couple weeks ago.
Unbelievable videos. I enjoy watching every episode.
That jelly you found with the tiny fish inside is called a Salp. Jack , you were correct when you stated that the little fish hide inside the salp. They do not get digested by the salp while they are inside.
