But unlike your case, we have two kids which we wouldn't expecting to have the second one when we got 3 room. So we will convert the living room to a room for the second child. 3 room house is not big but most important is that the whole family stays together happily in there. Surprised that the renovation is 40k since you didn't do alot plus knocking down the wall and glass panel for the study room.

Yes I agree what’s important is for the family to stay tgt 🫶 I think cuz we don’t have tiling and tiling itself already cost $8-9k! Then the sintered stone also more expensive 🤣 the glass window at the peninsula too. But cuz our first home we dw to compromise too much but I think after our first home we eventually come to consensus that practicality is more impt!

Hello! I used a 3rd party forwarder. Basically I talk to her on WeChat and then she will guide on what address to use etc and also help with the GST portion! Can just pay her via her Taobao shop directly and she will handle shipment all the way to your home for you :)

Compare to? A 3 room size from 80s have remain the same 65square meters with a few at 74. This means most 80 and 90s three room has been the same size.

Personally think a 4 room unit is better for young couple like you. Wonder where do your child will sleep in the future?

Ahhh we don’t have plans to have kids in the near future yet! And the 4 room is harder to get for BTO :( chances are lower hence we went w 3 room for now!
