Yet another expensive and hardly affordable to majority "SUV" style EV based on ICE platform....EV purchase doesn't make sense anymore, especially when charging became more expensive than filling ice car with petrol or diesel ( just did calculations on ESB e-cars pricing Vs ice car with consumption of 6l / 100kms....). There will be a lot of disappointed people very soon when they will realise how much they will have to fork out to charge their EV they're after purchasing...I know a few people who already want to get rid of their EV's and go back to diesel. Probably that's what they want, people keep buying ICE cars and filling with dinosaur's juices....and keep polluting environment, when someone makes even more money "curing" sick people from cancer. Not sure what is government thinking , blatant lies and miss information how cheap is to charge an EV. No incentives left at all to purchase a fair amount more expensive car compared to similar ICE car... All this coming from an EV driver for last 5 years, bought a 40 kWh leaf with possibly upgrading in a few years, 5 years later no affordable EVs with a decent range and on top of that hardly any savings at all to run and maintain and especially charge the car.... Not sure where all this is going, extremely disappointed in governments actions (inactions more likely) and future plans(if any).
