Throughout this whole episode Killian has been going around all “I want the truth.”

Hook's and Emma's frienship is beautiful❤❤❤❤

You know, I can see why Rumple wanted his powers back. I hate it, but to be so strong, so knowledgeable, so able to be in control, for SO long, and to lose that - I can see how that was too much for Rumple to handle.

Watching this scene makes my blood boil again. I remember half expecting what Regina said about the Dark One manipulating him, but for Snow to agree...very out of character. I was thoroughly disappointed with the lack of Charming Family interactions during the whole ordeal. Killian tried his best to understand Emma and save her although that cost him his life later on. It always kills me watching the scene where he tells Emma (when he first becomes the Dark One) that when her own mother didn't give her a chance to prove them wrong and that he put his faith in her to make her own decisions. I also have my many issues with how they developed Dark Swan. I think they had a lot to work with, and didn't pull through strong. Emma makes a terrible villain; ultimately what the lesson was. XD I just really wish she had more emotional scenes with her parents during that time.

Hook wants the truth and the rest of the group are all acting like the truth doesn’t matter.

I hate Snow and Regina in this episode. They automatically think the worst of Emma instead of making an effort to understand her, they haven't even spoken to her, and I'm not counting that pathetic "stay away from my son"-speech of Regina's and their conversation after they discover whats he did to Henry. Those two ladies are making it more difficult for Emma.

+Alda Mørkøre Nielsdóttir Except, as we learned by the end of the episode, Regina was correct all along. Emma was just manipulating Hook, by trying to butter him up. Even if she managed to accomplish her plan, she still had no intentions on ever telling him the truth about what she did to him. Hook let his guard down, and let his emotions cloud his better judgment.

+chocolateyes613 But what if she had reason not to tell him? Maybe if she put some faith in his judgement earlier, it would have been possible for him to snap out of it. (Since she hid it from him, and he had to find out from Zelena. Plus he felt manipulated, used up, and hurt. She saved him, knowing he was immortal, because to him he felt she didn't trust him. Also, he is the sole reason why she embraced darkness. I mean it's a lot to handle, and I understand why he's angry.) I don't think she wanted to risk that nor face the alternative (the mere reason why she cast the spell to begin with). Killian said it himself that he wouldn't be able to control the darkness just like Emma, and I feel like it would be easier to handle Killian if he had no recollection of who he now was. Plus we have no clue what happened in Camelot with the newly formed DO, and I think Merlin's message was trying to warn about Killian, and not Emma. So yeah, I hope they show why Emma cast the spell to begin with. Another thing, I don't think Emma is proud of what she has done. I am not saying it's right to not tell him, but there are too many factors involved. I agree about Snow and Regina. I mean I can understand Regina's thinking (although I think her snapping at Emma from day one back in Storybrook annoyed me). Let's not forget Emma didn't embrace darkness on her own, but to save Regina's life. Also Snow has made no effort to try to reason with Emma. I am still annoyed she and Regina were the ones trying to stop her from saving Killian's life. But that's another issue >.>

+Mari Mak Except, it was probably Hook who cast the curse. While, Merlin's message was about both.... he said, "the Dark Ones found me". Honestly, ABC is probably just overplaying how dark Hook will become. He has every right to be angry in Storybrooke, and even in Camelot. Emma is wrong for manipulating him, and she has shown no remorse for what she did. She was not sorry for turning Hook into a Dark One. She was sorry that he caught her in a lie. Gold warned Emma that the more she justified her actions, the more she would push her loved ones away.

I didn't hear "Dark Ones" but I'll re-watch the scene. Also they've confirmed that Emma cast the spell. Why would Hook cast a curse if he lost all his memories in the taking? We just found out that she turned him into the DO, and there are still flashbacks in Camelot we haven't seen. I don't think it's the fact that she has no remorse. She knows she made a mistake, and now she's trying to clean up the mess. And besides, it's not like she planned to turn him into a dark one. Plus she isn't perfect. She's still trying to fight back the darkness as well. What she did to save Hook was selfish, but it's also understandable why she did it. This show is all about trying to find loopholes, and there's always another way. Emma didn't care what happened to her, because I imagine the outcome would have been the same if she lost Hook.

Actually I'll take back the confirmation of her casting the spell. I can't remember where I read it, but I still believe it'd be weird for Killian to cast it. xD

+snuttanjonas89rocky That would be absolutely disgusting, considering how much Emma hated people trying to control her. The best twist would be, that Hook has been unknowingly subduing the Darkness within, while in Storybrooke. He has been moodier than usual, but could not be seduced by the Dark Swan. If anything…. Hook was the one who returned Excalibur to the stone, because he did not want anyone controlling him.
