I live in Arizona, USA and I just recently saw an otter by the Salt River here in Mesa. Now, I see these cute girls and now I want an otter!

Aunt Odashi is the Towel Queen! It is so precious how she always brings in towels to cover the babies and provide nesting material for them. 🥰🥰 The babies face biting and love nibbling is beyond adorable! ❤️❤️❤️

Oh now this was adorable. I can see that now that their eyes are open, they've gotten to the point where they want to play now like their mommy and auntie. And even cuter, they're playing with their towel bringing auntie. So cute!

It always make me smile the way they use their hands/paws, so so sweet and intelligent little animals they all will have fun starting to do more all together ... come on lazy wasabi 👏🏻🥰 Looks like Odashi spends a lot of time with them like if they were hers. I think it depends on the species of the otters shown here. Some otter breeds are very social creatures, and will live in groups of upward to 20, while other breeds are lean more towards much smaller groups of one to two.

It's interesting that unlike dogs: puppies/ cats: kittens, it seems that it's the adult otters are more playful than the otter pups. At least at this point, I'm sure that will change at some time in the near future.

Probably will be more playful when they are better at moving around on foot. Puppies and Kittens are better suited for land locomotion than Otter pups.

i love those movies. I lived for many years and i noticed that Japanese really care about all animals but here, on those movies, i see really lot of love and trust. Mama and Papa create great home for otters. It's really amazing. I hope that Japanese government (as i saw in jp news) now talking to open borders for foreigners with vaccine passports. As i remember in autumn. I hope i will be able to go with my family to Japan and also visit this lovely otters and bring them salmon okashi :)

I did some research and learned that otters are on the list of the ten most intelligent animals in the world. They are also very expensive if you want one for a pet, running up to $3000‼️They live in groups of up to 15 and are very social animals. And they do bite‼️I love otters. They are so cute and very affectionate to each other.

I saw some pups for 1500$ somewhere in texas. Ive researched them. They have to have alot of attention and a special diet.
