I would have preferred an Indian SUV instead of Toyota Fortuner for PM Modi convoy. Why can't Indian companies like Tata and Mahindra make a competitor to Toyota Fortuner Edit: Many of the ppl in replies are saying that Range Rover is Indian which I know but most people globally don't. If PM uses a customised, Bullet proof vehicle from Tata or Mahindra, it will help in their publicity of reliability. Tata and Mahindra have the tech and resources to build it.
