Seeing his house from outside its just like any other building in India..not like in western celebrities countries or millionaire they really have their own private property and away from the city .I wish God bless me and make me rich so I can build new hospitals schools, and help the poor who are really in need of help by support them and giving them free education free medical etc etc 😢that's my wish and dream

I saw Antilia from a distance when we were in India. It wasn't necessarily a stunning building from the outside but based on this video the inside is absolutely mind-blowing. I have no problem with the Ambanis and indeed find them inspirational. However, there is a slight feeling of discomfort when you see the slums of India and the poverty (in Mumbai) in such close proximity to Antilia. Is this how it was meant to be? Is it correct that there are people who cannot afford to eat right under the nose of such an extravagant display of wealth? I feel uneasy but the Ambanis are not to blame for this. My conscience feels a tug of guilt.

Mukesh Ambani built this home with his private money. He *employed* people to design and build it. It wasn't built on slave labor. If you, as a westerner are so concerned about poverty in India, why don't you return the loot taken by your ancestors that you seem to benefit from?

No, it's false information that Antillia in located in close proximity to the slumps. Infact, it is built in one of the world's most expensive areas to live in. Only billionaires can afford a land/house in this area.

The Royals built England through its Business deeds, good or bad, just like every other country. The Descendants deserve the wealth from that like everyone else. The Royals generate tourist dollars and history. Just the same way Dubhai built itself up, The Royals did that. Without the Royals, England has no tourist swag.

My favorite part is the garden-like area that is 4 stories high. This building is the coolest thing I've ever seen!! EDIT- I'm watching this from my Dad and I house. It's a small little rural Maryland beach house. Our house would literally be just one bedroom in this residence 😅 it's crazy how the ultra rich live their lives

Ambanis should take lesson from Tatas on how to be humble and good human being inspite of doing good business. Tatas give back a lion share of their earnings to the society and have helped people in times of national crisis. They prefer to be with the people than all over the people... and on top of that staying in the lap of so much luxury have made each of them physically so very unfit.. it's really a bad example set in front of the whole world..

Ohh man, Ambani has selected that place to build, means it'd give good view of the sea. Also he can afford to live in any place in the world. He already has mansions in Dubai, London & purchased a luxury hotel in New York. So, you don't have to tell what they see from their house.

i am from the indian diaspora. mumbai to me was/is the dirtiest city in india, though i have not visited calcutta to compare. always wondered what was on the inside of antilla. thanks for this video. i am not rich but would never want to stay in such an artificial/gaudy place. 1) some parts are beautiful like winding the staircase, high ceilings, chandeliers 2) some parts are tacky like the artificial plants/flowers, walking with slippers in the artificial snow, the exterior that looks like a number of rickety slum houses piled up one over another haphazardly, interior covered with decorative pieces at every nook and corner and on every wall!!! and 3) some parts are weird like the wide open spaces with chairs set around like a business venue and some rooms cramped like a hotel room, the great gujju swing ...with no space to swing, the so called swimming pools that look like ponds, the great library where books are kept as decorative pieces with hundreds of empty shelves.... does anyone read (besides mumbais gossip magazines where the ambanis are a sure feature)? well well well...when one is born in the slums of mumbai, one loves to breathe the air of the slums and live there. MONEY CANNOT BUY TASTE OR CLASS! besides the exterior million dollar fake smiles and dresses, are the ambanis HAPPY? how can they be knowing fully well the sweat and tears and lives of million indians that have been and ARE BEING sacrificed! WILL THEY AT LEAST PAY ALL THEIR STAFF WORKING FOR RELIANCE THEIR FAIR WAGES AND ON TIME??? one can take a gujju to the top, but you cannot make him shed his dna (in africa, the poor africans call gujjus....BLOOD SUCKERS!)

Knowing now that the Waqf (Islamic endowment or trust for the benefit of the poor and need) land was used or brought out for below market value and that the Waqf board allowed it, screams of corruption and neglect to the purpose of the trust. I don’t know the full picture but if there was sufficient money extracted by the sale to ensure the Waqf could continue in another manner, then it would make sense. Otherwise, this seems like the house has been built on some land or part of the land, that belonged to the poor/needy.
