Sometimes it's not jealousy, it's also knowing your partner's comfort zone and being empathetic. Obviously, no man wants another man hitting on his wife or girlfriend, but if you're dating or married to an attractive woman it's going to happen, perhaps more frequently than you might like. My girlfriend is easily a 10, a charming, funny, and stunningly gorgeous woman, and it's a little different for me than it is for Gabe as he's an attractive guy and I would consider myself only average at best. So I've run into these same situations, but with the added bonus of the conversation sometimes veering into the "You're with him? Why?" direction. I've sat and listened to her tell those stories and felt those twinges of jealousy, admittedly, but 90% of the time she feels more badly than me about the situation, either because of the discomfort she feels in not wanting to be approached, or because she feels badly for the other guy (this is totally okay, for her to be empathetic about him feeling rejected; many guys misread this as her "liking" the other guy or being attracted to him, and that's not the case -- women are more emotional creatures than us, and just recognize that she's being a good person when she feels sad or disappointed for him). She's also insanely charming, and many guys misread that as flirting and don't know that it's not an opening and will often chase her -- but that's okay too. You should be flattered that your girl is so beautiful and so charming that she's stealing hearts everyday. Just remember, time is the most precious gift we can give, and she's giving her time to you, so appreciate that gift. She's chose YOU, and that's all that matters.

@@shrishine2661 Not at all, like I stated in my post, the twinge of jealousy is definitely something that occurs and is totally normal, but what you're also seeing in the video is his genuine desire to have been there to prevent the awkward and uncomfortable moment Jess had to endure. It's the same thing I've dealt with, and it's very different than jealousy. These moments aren't just uncomfortable or make women nervous, depending on the man approaching them they can also be scary and terrifying. He's obviously concerned for her and empathizing with her as well.

I dont know how Jess got so lucky with genetics and stuff because she is truly one of the most beautiful girls ive ever seen. She doesnt have a single flaw on her. Im jealous. Its been rough for me growing up. I was bullied severely as a young teen because of my looks and i struggle with my self image. Its hard for me to understand why the lord can make someone so beautiful and flawless, someone who has likely never endured any bullying, having this fairytale love story at 20 and then make someone like me who didnt have a perfect smile before braces for 4 years, who has had severe acne for 10 years and having to go on strong medication to stop it and being left with all these scars, who has depression and anxiety and weight gain. Who is hurt by men. I could go on and on. I understand we are all equal and beautiful to the lord but unfortunately the human race doesnt feel that way.

Emily, everyone endures struggles! Just because Jess is gorgeous doesn't mean she has a perfect life. She goes through disappointment, sadness, and heartbreak just like the rest of us. Many pretty people are also bullied, please don't get the notion that they don't. I'm sorry you have been hurt by mean, careless people. Keep your head held high. God loves you, even when it feels like He doesn't. He gives everyone struggles and obstacles... the way we overcome these struggles determines our success and character. You're beautiful.

I'm not a christian but I do know that life brings everyone down. You see her life on KZread and it's what she wants to put out into the world. You don't see the struggles they go through especially being married at a young age. The first thing you have to learn to do is be confident in yourself. I truly do think that everyone is beautiful in their own way, we all see our own imperfections more than others. I have been bullied since I was in primary even by my close friends (I was one of those kids whose friends would always be mean to in a sarcastic way) and I always had boys who would hurt me by flirting with me leading me on and then bringing me down by stating my flaws to my face. It's hurtful yes but I guess I got used to it and overtime I think I just learned to stand up for myself. Get confident with myself. I felt chubby at the time and I decided to join a gym. And that's basically my happy place. I've met amazing people along the way who actually encourage me to be the best and I've learnt to TAKE the compliments and encouragement to bring myself up not down (I know the hardest thing to do is accept compliments and encouragement or when people give you advice. You need to learn to take them). Look at everyday as a learning process and find something that's beautiful about the day even if you're down. Trust me, it does you no good to think about what's wrong with your life or how you have acne and scars. We have all been through something and you're never alone. Braces go away, acne goes away. Surround yourself with positive people and learn to be more positive about life and trust me, you'll be a much happier person.

My favorite was when Jess was telling Gabe about what happened and she told him that she wanted to leave, and he just goes, “was it that bad” with this look of such concern in his eyes. It was so sweet!🤗🤗
