I don't know about the rest of you, but Otep's music has always been there to speak to me. Even when nobody else was. I have nothing but respect for her.

Over the 7 years of my fandom I've seen them live 6 times and this is still my fave song to hear them play live. Just saw them last week in Dallas.

Otep rules!!! Rob is an awsome guitarist, his energy alone in the venue made their shows great - I wish he was still in the band.

so few singers put this much passion into their live performances these days. this band is one in a fucking million.

Aaah, beautiful anger... I have been to one show, the fact that they are MORE awesome on stage is saying something. You can feel the emotion emanating from the stage, leading you into a feeding frenzy of pain and energy from Shamaya's voice, trust me...you go to one of these shows you WILL end up in the pit letting out past aggression, Otep is good therapy for the soul!

Oh yeah! This is the second best Otep song from first album and is probably my second favorite from the band (Sacrelige being my first). If you're watching this video and you haven't listened their albums yet I strongly recommend you check out the first album "Sevas Tra". That is the loudest and most brutal Otep album to date. House of Secrets is also good but just falls a little short of the first. I haven't listen to Ascension yet but from what I've heard it seems kind of soft for my taste.

Can we all stop for a moment and admire 1:50 and the awkwardness of it all. Otep is still badass tho.

I love this band, and i still have yet to hear a vocalist that can growl deeper than she can. though arch enemy is more demonic and has variety to it, but its just not as manly as otep.
