Thank you ..that’s so inspiring and makes sense. I am an 81 yr. old. With osteoporosis...what a great way to help me visualize. Please have more . The presentation was given slow enough for older people to grasp .

For all you people that can’t see it, these are exercises of AWARENESS. Awareness has to come before change and before movement. There is no other way to get there. Most Bob And Brad watchers will get this but some body directed here by the algorithm may not get it.

Thanks, Sara and Christina. I absolutely loved this video. Did all of the “exercises” as I listened. Feel great. Learned a lot. Love the explanations! Now, can a shorter version with just the exercises be posted? I always need a lot of practice before I even get close to mastering but I don’t have time to watch the whole video every time. “Remembering to do it!” Like kegels. For the fontanel feather do you lift your hand a little? Is it similar to one of your morning exercises on the bed where we put our hands on the top of our heads and push our heels out?

Look for her Osteoporosis Morning Exercises through Bob and Brad. It’s only 8 min. The exercises even less. And you lie on the bed (unless you have a PT table!). It’s amazing!
So if I press my feet into the concrete mold, imagine I’m taller, holding a grapefruit under my chin, I have nailed it! Great teaching visuals, m’am. ( I have told my piano students to imagine they are a puppet hanging from a string attached to the top of their head-your fontenal(?) feather. But I ripped that idea off somebody. 😊)

Thanks for your useful videos, I had a question related to my jaw, ive been chewing on one side since 13 I think and now I'm 18, I've seen that the side I used is a bit more forward, so is the jaw and the left side is a bit back so i want to know that if I start chewing on the other side will they both become normal?
Thank you! Something that was missing for me, though, was a bit of an explanation as to why the work on good posture is important for osteoporosis. I’m not clear on the purpose, specifically for osteoporosis. Does it help strengthen bones? Prevent fractures? What is the significance of the posture muscles for osteoporosis? I find if I understand well why an exercise is important, I’m more motivated to do it!

I've read in the Victorian Age, your back was your strength. Ladies sitting in the home, sat erect, never allowing their back to hit the back of the chair, sitting instead in the front of the chair, with their feet directly underneath.

I think it’s more to do with general preservation of the overall skeletomuscular system. If you’re in permanent slouch mode, the muscles collapse and adjacent bones can be closer together. Weak muscle condition and poor posture can also contribute to imbalance and falls.

@@jackiefowler6237 my Mother who was born in 1923 told me that she was raised like that! Sit on the edge of the chair, etc. And she always poked us 5 girls in the middle of the back when she saw us slump!

I'm 49 yrs Old and I've noticed that I HAVE some Posture problems...Especially around the Shoulders...A Little slouch..But I WORK LIKE A BULL...😠😒😑💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
We in INDIA were made to stand shoulder blades against a wall..heels touching wall ..no way to go wrong !!
