Hi Will, appreciate your kindness in looking after the 50+ generation the osteo sufferers too. Thank you 🙏
I love that you show us what not to do followed by an alternative that we can do instead. I'm used to being told what I can't do because of this or that injury, osteoporosis or arthritis. Your videos continue to be excellent and timely for your viewers! Thanks Will!

Which Philip gym? What is difference between that and other gyms? Thanks.
Thanks so much for this. No medical practitioner advises what to do, or not to do, if one had osteoporosis. I have had numerous compression fractures and still have not been given any advise. You are wonderful. Please can we have more exercises for someone who has severe osteoporosis. 🤞Maybe when you give instruction for the other exercises on your channel you would mention whether okay to perform if suffering from severe osteoporosis. Thank you S0Ooooooo much
Mom's had dementia for 10 yrs and is still robust but in a nursing home, she often said "Pushing oneself's away from the table is the best excercise there is!" 😂😊

Brilliant video! Thank you so much Will. I am very concerned about my osteoporosis and it was great to have an explanation as why a certain exercise could be detrimental. I have never had that explained to me before and little advice as to the correct alternatives. Greatly appreciated, keep up the good work. 😊
Can't thank you enough for alternative exercises for osteoporosis, as I also have lumbar stenosis . Have to be so careful. Thank you so very much!

Thank you Will for giving us alternative exercises. God bless
Thanks for explaining how and why 😊
I have heard from numerous sources to avoid bending or twisting the spine when you are osteoporotic. However 3 PTs I have worked with are telling me it's safe because it's a smooth, not jerky, movement. It's difficult when I get such opposing opinions. I prefer to play it safe but it's a challenge during therapy sessions when the PT is telling me to do an exercise that may be unsafe.
Very grateful Will again. Shall keerp these exercises in mind once the sacrum fracture consolidation well over. Merci
Thank you Will..God bless
Amazing exercises thank you so much🙏🏽,would love if you could make and share a video on an exercise routine that any person (in fairly ok health) could and should do everyday.Im 54 and I love your exercise easy alternatives .i watched one yesterday in calf pain and it really helped instantly.Going to ask my son to gift me your book this Mothers day. You are blessed . It’s always nice to know people who have found their purpose in life. God bless

Will, I wonder if you could show some helpful exercises for iliopsoas tendon pain. At first it was only on the right, now, for the past several months, it is on the left. I am 80, and do have osteoporosis. Thank you, Will, and I always enjoy your videos. I have learned so much. ❤😊
This was excellent . I do Pilates using machines and only do a standing roll down using the bar on springs at the end of the Cadillac .i had understood that because the bar and springs support my weight and of course I am not bending so far , that this was ok. Could you please consider if I can still do it this way. I have told several friends about these videos and they have all be so pleased with your content. Thank you.
Thank you very helpful

For the alternative to the bent over row: would dumbbells be OK to use instead of a band & be just as effective? Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
Thanks! Could you please write below the pieces of research you are referring to? I'm interested in having a look at them. Merci :)

Thank you so much for all your help and hard work 👍 I have a question my 49 year old son has aggressive MS his mobility is suffering badly and getting worse quickly are these exercises OK for MS or could you recommend which might be good for him? I know it's hard to recommend something for him but any advice would be helpful thanks again.

My heart stopped when i heard “row” in one of the exercise no-nos. I have a rowing machine (waterrower) at home that i have been using 5 minutes a day (most days). I also have severe osteoporosis. I hope the rowing machine is ok. I try to keep my back straight as suggested in the product video. I get your point about tiredness making it difficult to keep your back secure (as you said when discussing the dead lift) so i will pay attention to that. But if rowing is a cause for concern, please let me know. Thank you!
Hi there, thank you for all your videos and support. I am 50 and i just been diagnosed with osteopenia in my spine. Do you think that i should start doing the safe exercises from now? I don't know what to do. Thank you. 🙏
Will, thanks so much. There is so little good advice. Is the side plank ok if one has mild arthritis in elbows?
Check out Belinda Beck liftmor studies on lifting weights. By the way high intensity resistance training is recommended. Belinda is a professor at Griffith University. The Bone Clinic is also useful. Good form is absolutely critical.
Thank you

I got the book, but do you have a video.
Would it be ok to lie in supine rest position with hands underneath the head and lift the head and shoulders a little off the floor more directly upwards instead of going into flexion? You are very thorough & thoughtful! Thank you 🌞
Thanks, Will for this valuable information. I've heard it from other PT, Pilate instructors and really understand the importance. Will forward-bending with a flat back (without weight) all right for people who are in the osteopenia category? In a typical ballet class, we do forward bending (a type of port de bras) with a flat back (forming a right angle with the legs) before bending further to touch the legs if possible. Thanks in advance for your input.
How about adding ankle weights to the toe tap exercise?
Great alternatives because strengthening and resistance training is vital to keeping strong and mobile. I have a bony bum and maybe these will help build the glutes? Thanks Will.

Hi there - I have lots of additional videos dedicated to the glutes and legs on my channel as well which may be useful!
I am 61 and was diagnosed with osteoporosis last year. I'm very active. So, this diagnosis was troubling. I watched this video and it helped me see how I need to adjust my workouts (i.e. upright rows and dead lifts). It's comforting to know I can continue exercising without too many adjustments.
I have water in my knees. I have a lot of pain in my leg all the way up to my bum and middle back. I am doing PT. I want to do weights. Can you make a video on how to do weights for someone with my issues please?
Are you familiar with the back stretcher machine? Your body is supported up to the pelvis at 45°, and you bend down at the waist and come back up into a straight line. I've been doing it for years without incident, but as I just learned I have osteoporosis last year, I wonder if I should do it.
Doc what is agood supliment if ypu have ostoe.pls tell me
How about the manual treadmill it’s okay to use it? Thank you.
I have fibromyalgia & osteopenia.+ sciatica. Will this still help?
Will the plank cause fracture to my arm or shoulder? Can i be on four and do cat and cow posture like in yoga? All the exercises that you told us to avoid, i have being doing them all my life, and i feel good!. Now i miss those exercises! I like you anyway, Will.
Is thread mill exercise bad for osteoporosis?
I yoga or chair yoga good. Or will it even build muscle?
15:12 😊😊😊
i would like the emails please. i would like some do and dont for hip osteoporosis. bone mineral down on hip neck. thank you
Is the cat-cow spinal stretch exercise safe?
Hello Will are these do's & dont's for osteoporosis in your book for 'over fifties' book ?
And push ups too it’s okay?
Don't confuse by saying simultaneously, it's a great exercise...comments in between
