Honestly Jotaro vs Elder D'Arby was the best episode in my opinion. This 'fight' embodies Jojo's to me, putting everything on the line to outwit your opponent, rather than winning by thinking about your friends and getting mad till you accumulate enough plot armour to win. Jotaro was one single word away from losing, and no amount of plot armour would have saved him, he didn't rely on random bullshit saving him, he pushed his opponent into a figurative corner till he fainted, and won using his ability to bluff, and his intellect.

@@andrewshaw6921 The fight was GETTING requiem. No amount of plot armour would have saved Giorno if him and the Jo-bros didn't get the Stand Arrow to Giorno. Giorno getting the arrow in the first place was the fight, GER wasn't plot armour, nor was it friendship armour. It would be a different story if he STARTED the fight with GER, but he only got it at the end, and only because they held on by the skin of their teeth to get it. Giorno and the Jo-bros win because they put everything on the line, thought on their feet, made sacrifices, and fought smart. If they didn't, King Crimson could solo all of them without the arrow. It's good writing, because the most broken "I win" button of a stand in the series is only obtained at the end of the fight through considerable loss, and is never used after that, meaning it never spoiled any fights.

the fact that this series that has a reputation of being a violent punchy series can pull off two straight episodes of gambling and make it just as high-stakes and entertaining as any other fight really shows how good this show is. I mean not just that, either. They had a gaming fight, a fight where a guy killed a god with a wool hat, a fight where both people were chained up, i mean this show can make anything entertaining, jesus

When Jotaro got the juice and cigar, he did it so fast that Darby couldn't see it at all, probably reminding him of Dio's time stop in their poker game. Therefore, when Jotaro put out his bluff, Darby probably thought that Jotaro used Star Platinum to stop time and get a better hand. At this point, Darby figured that he would have to tell them about Dio's stand if he called, which is basically a death sentence; so in his panic, while he tried to call, he just couldn't risk his own life. And for anyone who wants to yell at me saying "But Jotaro didn't know he can stop time yet!1!!1!1!!": Yes, that is true. But Darby doesn't know that. We're not talking about Jotaro knowing if he can stop time or not, we're talking about Darby wondering if Jotaro stopped time or not. From Darby's perspective, he has no idea that Jotaro didn't know how to stop time. Well, hope you enjoyed my thoughts on Darby's thoughts during this situation.

Man all this music is just great! All the songs work extremely well by themselves, unlike many other OSTs. I bet Araki is happy that the music he references so much had such good tributes in the form of the 6 osts released so far.

Great theme to Egyptian Arc. especially since first 30seconds

BEST theme in the soundtrack.

Finally found it after so long; i kept looking on youtube for this song and all i ever found was the "stardust crusaders" ost. I love that but this with the extra drums is just so much better

Imagine, if D'Arby only kept his patience and without passing out, and would have played that chance, he had a better hand compared to Jotaro's "almost nothing" hand. Imagine Jotaro's loss. Close, "Kakero" means to place a trap.

The only writer that can make bets, video games and (most importantly) posing intimidating is Araki. This is reflected in the anime too, with all the cool osts. Thank you David Productions for understanding JoJo's premise and thank you Araki-sensei for creating this anime.

Everyone is mentioning this theme being played during the D’Arby confrontations, but remember when this was played when DIO was being blown up for a couple of seconds. That scene is hella satisfying. Gives me goosebumps every time.

I love the back and forth between d’arby and jotaro represented in the song

"Jotaro, if your that confident, then that means you must have a very strong hand you believe you can win against D'arby to go all in. I can believe in this hand right? YOU ARE SURE TO WIN RIGHT JOTAROOOO!" (Breathing intensifies)

This might just be my favourite thing on the OST

If you think about it, darby is one word away from killing the entire joestar family

alot of people do not know this, but when jotaro defeats dio, this at 2:38 plays, not stardust crusaders

Honestly Jotaro not even looking at his set of cards to not feel/show any stress was such a smart thing. He noticed how it's possible to win by just pushing the opponent to internally admit defeat, and used it. Dude just bet on EVERYTHING, even his mother's life, and won with confidence. It was one of the coolest moments of Stardust crusaders

Must insist, best boss fight in anime history.

oh man the combination uf ud and electroguitar is amazing.

You can practically hear the battle between the two individuals within the song.

You can tell how the fight plays out just by the music... literally gold

Kakyoin, Advol, Holly and Jotaro’s soul, he really has gone all in
