Plot Synopsis:
If mortal people encounter ups and downs, they will ask the gods for help. Among the four true gods of the ancient world, are Bai Jue and Shang Gu. The two go through three lifetimes of life and death and experience a sadomasochistic romance.
Shang Gu grows up from a little “rookie” with low spiritual power to a main god who bears the weight of the common people. But at last, she cannot escape her catastrophic fate.
The gods live a long life and have deep roots of affection. Some people do not hesitate to destroy the world for her, even if the Three Realms turn into nothingness. Some people have waited silently for 60,000 years to give her immortality in the Three Realms, even giving up their own life.

The best ever drama for me one of his most outstanding performances and the young lady is a delight to watch her smile alone is just beautiful a d when she plays the emotional part's omg she's spot on

This drama is something truly special. The casting is outstanding. No matter how many times I've watched it, it always feels like a new experience.
Moving on from this masterpiece is really hard..
Most outstanding drama...flawless performances, chemistry, growth of character throughout time, friendships / love relationships....Just an all amazing storyline....I laughed, cried, hurt and rejoiced when they triumph in the end...this was a worthwhile losing some sleep...would be great to have a Ancient love poetry 2...

Yeah.. I'm happy while I was watching the ending and I love it but at the same time, I feel it is still very sad ending because of Qingmu, Houchi and Yuemi.. 😭😭😭 Can't move on from this drama yet😭 I really hope there is a scene where Houchi is able to meet Qingmu again for one last time after both Shanggu and Bai Jue awakened.. The way they part is so tragic!!
