Thanks for the great review! The 5e version has lots of guest writers who added encounters, characters and magic items. It was fun to revisit and expand. Enjoy!

Thanks Luke! I enjoyed the updates as well, as I've had the old C&C version for years. I'm looking forward to running it!

I like the original and snagged the CnC one but passed on 5e with great difficulty. If it stays in print I might grab it. I like it and added content would be neat.

I bought the C&C version a couple years ago, must have been a reprint edition. I didn't know about earlier versions. Nice review, thanks.

Finally came up with a way to use this in my campaign. Gaxmoor will appear in the midst of an apocalypse in a mountain range along ancient trade routes. The party gets tipped off that an ancient sage named Garneson once dwelt there and if he still does, he is likely to have information they can use to help stave off the apocalypse. The cambion fits right into the apocalypse I have in mind, as it's an Infernal invasion scenario.

This definitely got my imagination going. I wonder if gaxmoor would work as a time-lost Netherese city randomly appearing in the Anauroch Desert? Like, as a fail safe before the fall they zapped themselves into the future. I already moved Dark Sun stuff there, with the city states being remnants of Netheril and the god kings as survivors holding on to what's left.

@@captcorajus I might be wrong but I think at least one of them was born before Sesame Street started airing. After that odds are no parent was going to name two sons Bert and Ernie unless they were *really* big fans of the show and didn't care what they were setting their kids up for in terms of grade school torment.

Nope, got a new vid coming out tomorrow and a new one before the end of the month. So.. at least 4. of course RL work schedule is back to precovid levels so having to pound out the tasks for video making when they come. Like THOUGHT I'd get the video out today, but, couldn't get the audio editing done before i had to leave for work. So, should have it done pretty early in the morning! Thanks for your patience!

It would be possible, but it would have to be carefully balanced, as not to introduce too much metal to the setting.

@@captcorajus I already play my game like it is set in the bronze age at the turn of the Iron age, so it could work. The problem is that my main city right now is on the silt sea in an uncharted area of the world map.. it's do able, those aqueducts would run dry though and where such a huge population of Roman-like are going to get their water is probably the main plot point.. the city would probably be quickly abandoned unless it was set in an oasis, which is do able as well. Maybe it shows up in a large mountain range and there is an alpine lake nearby to feed the aqueducts though.. hmm. Some good ideas to think of, but the players will start delving into the Goodman Games Lost City soon (thanks for your review of it), and that will probably last half a year of play at least if they fully explore it, so this would have to be a back burner thing.
