Osprey Packs | Farpoint/Fairview Trek | Product Tour
Фильм және анимация
Adventuring to a far-off destination where you'll stay with your belongings more often than leave them in your hostel? (Looking at you, tea house trek.) We have the perfect solution. A hybrid of travel and backpacking packs, the Farpoint/Fairview Trek features both on-the-go and on-the-trail essentials. A luggage-style front-panel opening makes for painless packing and unpacking-leaving plenty of time to ask for a second serving of dal bhat and warm your muscles next to the yak dung-burning stove. An adjustable backpanel provides a custom torso fit and maximum airflow helps you stay cool and dry when putting in miles on the trail. In transit, a protective AirCover keeps away damage-in nature, it doubles as a waterproof raincover. Sleeping bag straps, a hydration compartment and hipbelt pockets provide a place for everything. Still need more room? The Trek is compatible with our Daylite® packs.

Y’all need to do a video that shows all the different daylite packs and how they attach to different packs

exactly this! i love this feature, but it is very confusing in the beginning, which pack is compatible with which, etc. i had a longer email conversation with the osprey support to sort some things out. please osprey, give us all the information you can!

Well, they discontinued the ones that had the loops in front for the straps to go through, so really there aren’t any compatible packs it seems.
Great product!
I've been struggling to attach Daylite Pro to Farpoint Trek 75 on the front side for a good 20 minutes. Guides on the internet, including this one keep claiming they're compatible, yet the female clips on Farpoint and male clips on the Daylite Pro are incompatible in size. Bit disappointed since I bought the Daylite for sole purpose of it supposedly sticking well with the Farpoint Trek.
I have a farpoint 70 and a duffle 60L, excellent travelling bags and versatile.
Great stuff!
Good product from Osprey⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Is there any kind of loop or another thing for attaching hiking sticks and ice axe?
Osprey missed the security on the Farpoint 75!!! The upper part (main compartment) of the bag can be secure by using a Lock 🔒 however you can access the main compartment using the low side of the bag that's no lockable! ⚠
Osprey farpoint trek 55l dimension looks like 60/65l. Is it true or not? Thanks for your video
Omg I need this!! My last bag the Farpoint 40 was sooo small!

I just did this upgrade! It’s amazing
Can this be considered a carry on bag through the airport?
Hi. I habe the Problem that the metall rod from the adjustable backside, is Pressung against my shoulder blades. Is there a solution, I read that this is a main problem….
Hello, im considering buying the Fairview trek 50. Since I am based in India where there are no authorized osprey retailers with available stock, I am ordering the pack with my friend coming to India this week. Her suitcase is of the length of 60cm and the backpack is of 62cm. Is it possible to accomodate the bag in her suitcase, if I remove the aircover and store it separately or is the frame malleable in an way to be squished by 2cm. Please let me know if this is possible at the earliest because she is flying in the next two-three days. I would appreciate a quick response. Thank you for your help
Is the main compartment lockable?
Can you attach Daylight-Plus to the front of the pack? or just the Daylight-Travel one?

Just the travel one I believe, it's the only one with clips on the top
Are there straps for trekking poles?
is this good for 3 day hiking adventure
Noice!
Where is the trekking pole attachment? Or this bag doesn't have trekking pole attachment?
"I bought the Fairview Trek 50 women's model because I noticed it's smaller than the Fairview Trek 55 for men. Is there a genuine difference since it's designed for women, or can a man use it as well?"
Hey.. Nice review. What's the maximum torso size for the men's 75L? The old farpoints had a max torso size of 22inchs. Thanks

@@ospreypacks ok, I was hoping for a 65 liter version. But it's good to know. Thanks
Why doesn't the womens Fairview Trek 70L come in black?
The Daylite Travel has been discontinued, for anyone who ended up here trying to figure out which pack you can attach to the pack in the front or back; so that means none of them.

I enquired with Osprey about the Fairview/Farpoint series that are currently out of stock(at least in Europe). They replied that these backpacks will be compatible with Fairview/ fapoint day packs. so probably they are releasing new daypacks as well.
Hey, can I attach hikelite18 to fairview55 trek?
@ospreypacks

Hello! You cannot attach those two bags. The only series that is compatible with the Farpoint/Fairview is the Daylite.
i love this bag but id really like some place to keep my laptop secure, maybe i can come up with a hard case or something for it

Check out our laptop sleeve! www.osprey.com/us/en/product/arcane-15-laptop-sleeve-ARCANLP15S20_198.html Utilizing this and making sure the compression straps are pulled tight should make sure that your laptop is secure.
IMO ALMOST perfect, but fails is missing an essential component - why is the harness not stow-able? Good is great in hostels/hotels etc, s as it keeps the pack tidy and out of the way.

It goes with an attached big bag cover for travel and for rain. Watch the video again. That will protect the backpack during transit and from rain and snow as you hike.

@@GelSantosRelosVideos That’s not what he’s referring to. It’s nice to be able to stow the straps to keep the pack tidy and still accessible when on a luggage rack/shelf/etc, as you can with the regular Farpoint/Fairview. It’s the number one reason I chose not to purchase this one, since I like to keep my Farpoint harness zipped up and tidy when I’m car camping or getting on a plane.
