I just turned 61 the other day, and it does not matter which version of this I listen to from the Osmonds, it gets me a little teary in the eyes. This hits home in so many ways.....man......

I'm 66 and the same, incredible talent, fantastic harmonies and so humble.

I absolutely LOVE this rendition of this song! Perfection! I especially love the "OHHHH OHHHH's" by Donny starting at 2:54. Listen carefully, you can hear him. Very powerful and so well done. Goosebumps!

I thought the same thing but thought it was Merrill - but you're right and you can tell by looking at Donny. I would say my favorite voices of the group are Merrill and Donny's - like buttah! 🙂

The best family in music.....The Osmonds...loved watching them as I grew up with them all from the beginning....nice going to Branson Missouri and sitting on the front row. Listening to them sing and they came and shook my hand and my mom's too...I loved seeing Jay. I got my picture taken with them to. I was in the middle of Jay and Merrill and Wayne on the other side of Jay....it was nice talking to them to . love them...ty Dave for posting this video of the Osmonds performing together .....👍💖...nice experience getting to meet Merrill Jay and Wayne osmond.....

When I first saw this on my 10th birthday, I thought this version of He Ain't Heavy was great. It still is, decades later. I like how they interposed childhood photos within the grownup versions of themselves. It also made me feel better after a busy day at work after revisiting 80's Jay, Jimmy, Donny and glamazon Marie. I didn't get to see them until Earls Court 1975, but many times since. Always a great show!

Merrill has an amazing voice wow! It's been decades since I last heard this family. Wonder why Merrill is wearing black gloves? Had they really been performing for 25 years in 1985?!?! I remember listening to Donny and the older brothers when I was young but that would mean they started before I was born. I always had Donny's picture all over my walls and listened to songs like "Puppy Love" Then later I would watch the "Donny and Marie show.
