When Teddy Osei, Mac Tontoh , Sol Armofio and the rest of the high riding Osibisa crew went into the studio in London to record this tune, way back in the early 70z, they never dreamt they had unleashed arguably the biggest classic ever to come out of Africa. Woyaya is one of the continent's most covered songs ever; a true gem by any standard.

We will get there. As a Nigerian seeing the suffering of my people inflicted by bad leadership. A great country torn to shreds by greed corruption hate and tribalism . I cry from the depth of my heart but in hope that we will rise above all this and focused of nation building. From economy to security education health production exports just good working economic development policies with competence.

I have been playing the entire WOYAYA album now at least once a week for 50 years now! It's a gift from God. Like a trusted friend it's helped sustain me through good times and bad. I never tire of it. There's no other LP I have played a fraction of that much!

@@dodzikwasi Vinyl? CD? Both can be found at used record/cd shops, or easiest to find on AMAZON. Amazon(US or UK) has everything and will mail anywhere. I know Amazon is huge, but it does make shopping easy. It wouldn't surprise me if there was an Aboriginal Amazon where tribesmen could order poison darts & head-shrinking supplies! Ha-ha! Osibisa has an ALL NEW SONGS cd soon to be released this year[2021]!!! First release of new songs since 2009's "Osee Yee" cd.
