Loved her from the first time I saw her. It was in a movie on the telly, one I watched by myself one Saturday afternoon probably, when I was around fifteen I guess. I couldn't understand why the world wasn't talking about her constantly. It is beautiful when someone you loved in your youth still deserves your admiration when you get older. I hope her private life was just as she wished. Rest in peace Glenda ❤
Thanks to Glenda for all she did. Contrast the way male actors such as Ian Mckellan have been described with affection to Glenda who got much worse press and considered shrill because she was a woman! Sadly such views still abound.
A lot of class died when she did.
She was a genius.
