So, here's my guess. Somebody said wow that's cool! I bet I could make money off of that. Then it started making the majority think it's cool. Finally, people bought them (idiots and younger, more easily manipulated ignorant people)

With a huge surge into renewable energy, b/c of the war in Ukraine and Russia cutting off gas to the western world, any NFTs are only as good as the energy they ride on. Snoop Dogg recently bought a record label and is bringing their catalog to NFTs. If NFTs can eventually manage to be powered entirely off renewables, what sounds more damaging to the environment, the sale of 1 million cellophane wrapped, plastic CD cases, or an NFT delivered through wind and solar energy?

Agreed, NFT art is one of the strangest crazes.. and truly gave NFTs a bad name. NFT music, tv shows, film, and video games is a much better use for NFT tech. Especially video games. You buy a $70 game from steam, that’s $70 directly to steam, that has no inherent value, and is essentially a license to access the video game. You buy that same $70 game as an NFT, you literally own that piece of code. Once you’re done with said game, you’d be able to sell that game and recoup some of that value. As if it were a hard copy from GameStop or Best Buy.

That cat Oscar’s story has always been interesting to me. Cats have a superior sense of smell and smell eachother to gather information about eachother, that much is known. The cat probably smells an unmistakable change in the room when someone’s about to die, and being the sweetheart that he is, he goes to comfort them. Every hospital needs an Oscar.

I had a dog who wouldn’t leave me alone for about 3 months. She sat in front on me like a creeper all the time. Then I found a lump in my breast at 33 yrs old and after my first chemo treatment my dog suddenly stopped. She passed while I was in treatment.

Should publicize that email from Patagonia. That is illegal and they should be held responsible. If Patagonia never faces any (public) negative consequences they will just be motivated to continue and even escalate that behavior.

The way i think of NFT's, which I don't 100% understand, is you own the actual digital artwork. Sure someone can screen shot it. BUT similar to physical art, anyone can buy a copy of the Mona Lisa, but there is only 1 that is valuable, the original. and people spend millions on physical artworks. We're just living in a digital world now. You can store and show off your NFT's online, similar to how rich people hang expensive art in their house.

I have heard of similar stories with therapy animals. I am wondering in the case of that cat, that it is simply the fact that just stroking/laying this cat is putting someone at ease and a sense of reassurance that they are able to let go and go peacefully, Rather than the cat knowing.

i live in Australia and when i was very young, about 25~ years ago i was told something very similar about Cats/Dogs, Cats and dogs genuinely seem to be able to sense bad people, bad intentions etc, i'm guessing it has something to do with your internal light, people seem to die before they die and the cat sees it somehow, dogs do similar things with pregnant women, bad/evil people, They JUST know, There's a reason cats and dogs were revered as gods in ancient cultures

You’re telling me, the animal that can’t tell if I threw the ball or not, can sense peoples emotions? Can tell if someone has cancer or is about to die? The creatures who chase windshield blades and can’t help but sit in a box have these mysterious powers? I’m joking I think they can do it to an extent. It’s just funny to me that some dogs and cats are kind of dumb while others can actually help you in ways you can’t explain. But the whole god thing, people used to worship the sun, cows, and wind. I think everything got a chance to be worshipped to figure out what to believe in. Should have stayed cats and dogs though.

NFTs are just contracts that automatically enact when the coding and conditions check out for a transaction...it'll transform the financial sector. The art sector of NFTs is useless until those items become wearable in a metaversish world. You're welcome! :D Been watching you guys since ep. 1

This is pretty accurate because most carnivores have a strong sense of smells. Death has a specific smell and I've have smelled this specific smell on my dad and a co worker and they all have died within short period of time. I can only imagine how strong that smell is for an animal.

@@tobiasedwards2643 it's like a specific smell. Humans have a very specific smell. It's actually extremely vile. This girl I worked with recognized the smell as our coworker was around us because she said her grandmother had the same smell when she passed away. It's a smell you will never forget. I don't think I've smelled anything worse in my life. It's weird because when my dad was on his death bed I couldn't smell it anymore but a couple of weeks it was a really strong smell. Maybe I had just gotten used to the smell being around him. But it's horrible. So I can only imagine an animal picking up on this scent. I think a lot of what they said is true about humans having consciousness is a big reason we are lacking with other scenes. For reference if you asked me specifically what I could compare this smell to. I couldn't. But I have smelt this smell twice and even had another coworker back up this claim when I mentioned it to others and sure enough 1 day later that coworker who had that scent passed away. And it's almost like I knew but I couldn't tell him because when I came and visited everyone at work he seemed so happy and thought he was doing good with his health. It was such an eye opener for me. I'm sure there is information on the internet about this but I have never looked into it. But now I'm going to out of curiosity.

@@tobiasedwards2643 follow up just did a bit of quit searching. Apparently it happens when a persons body begins rotting away from the insides sometimes the main cause of this is cancer or lack of nutrients. Which would make sense cats are predators and scavengers in nature. Cats also rub their body all over things to mark them with scent even with prey they have freshly killed. I don't know if they do it with something they haven't killed but I don't see why not. So it would make sense for a cat to want to rub and cuddle up to someone who is about to die and they can smell it.

@@bane4743 that’s interesting I’ve heard of that in bears and dogs. I’ve been watching Kevin Richardson’s KZread channel recently and when he takes his lions on walks they often roll in poop especially antelope poop and he talked about it in a few of his videos. He said some people think it’s to mask their sent but he doesn’t think so because it’s mostly male lions doing it and not lionesses also they lick it up and they start drooling sometimes. So basically he thinks of it as something they get a high off of like catnip.

And what generation are you talking about living in their parents basement until 35 considering you aren’t even 35 yet. The generation still in school is doing college level work in middle school.
