Spence is actually the busier boxer when you look at average punches thrown per round. Crawford is the most skilled fighter of the two guys. This should be an amazing fight and no matter who you think will win, it is truly a 50/50 fight.

@vv and ALOT of other fighters and trainers rewatched the fight and switched to Haney winning once they got out of their emotions because of round 10 & 11 lol. I'm not a big Haney fan to begin with. You just resort to shaming tactics when your argument is weak. Loma stole the crowd, but fighting in spurts isn't enough if you lost the other 2:15 of the round. Haney IMO won most of the rounds in the 1st half of the fight. I had it 7-5 Haney. It wasn't a robbery in the least. The 116-112 card having Haney winning the 10th was wild but the right person still won.

Crawford, lesser competition, chin is suspect, have been hit easy in last fights and is 36 years old. He will have to knock out Spence. There is nothing in his resume that says he can do that. He has fought C and D level fighters and old or damaged fighters.

I’m for Spence as well, but I have a hard time seeing how anyone beats Crawford. Just so all you understand this, Spence is the harder puncher - Crawford gets more knock outs because he’s craftier and faster with his punches. You get knocked out mostly from the punches you don’t see. Brooks and Porter both said Spence was the bigger puncher.

Oscar has hate towards PBC! What some people don't realize is that Terence Crawford has greatness, but he's always been in fights that he was supposed to be extremely victorious. He is just starting to get comfortable enough to take a fight that he could possibly lose, badly. ESPN did have a horse in the race as far as the welterweights were concerned and they had hoped someone else would beat Spence all those years that passed before they would make a welterweight showdown with any of the top 147 pounders at Showtime/PBC. Since ESPN controls the ranking system shallow thinkers paid any of that no mind. Bob Arum had plenty to do with that. He never wants to risk losing his cash cow, any of them.

The outstanding amateurs more often than not do not become the best pros. Mark Breland was hailed as possibly the greatest amateur boxer of all time. But he fell short of greatness as a pro, getting beaten up by the same fighters he defeated in the amateurs. Jorge Luis González and Tyrell Biggs were the outstanding amateur heavys of their era, defeating Stevenson, Tyson, Bowe and Lewis on their way to winning multiple tournaments and gold medals. Go watch what Tyson, Bowe and Lewis did to them in the pros.

One thing Spence has done well recently is weaken his opponents to where they are in complete survival/defensive mode. I’m not so sure he can get Crawford to that point…He’s too crafty and fast.

Styles make fights. Just because one fighter is good against another fighter doesn't mean they will be good against someone else. Prime example, Frazier gave Ali all he could handle. Foreman punished Frazier but Ali got Goreman out of there. With that said, u remember Spence fans saying how easy he was going to beat Porter and then having all kinds of excuses when he al.ost lost. I like Spence. I just don't like his fans.
