If this is where country is going!!!!!!!??????? I’ll have to eat many words! Just heard this guy on CBC’s “q” this morning & cant quite yet believe my good fortune. Absolutely bloody fantastic, particularly that voice! I can see why their crowds have every type of person in attendance. It’s not really country, but its more country than country! I hear echoes of my fav old cowboy tunes & everything else, but applied with a TwinPeaksesque masterstroke visually. & those masks? Hell.....that’s fun! I’ll be listening a lot!

I just discovered this song yesterday. I’m not a country music fan, but I have always held a deep respect for it. This song uplifted my spirits, then broke my heart. I cry every time I play this beautiful, very intense, hypnotic song!

Any other THE THE fans hear this song and think, "oh wow, Matt Johnson is back"? Brilliant tune, go Orville!!

You know; it doesn't really matter what you sing, even if it's "Twinkle twinkle little star", 'cause it is YOUR VOICE which turns every song to amazing.

That mix of western and shoegazing at the end is gorgeous.

I cannot tell you how happy this song makes me. Listen on road trips and smile, babies. Thanks you, Mr. Peck.

That powerful voice It reminds me of the best Elvis tones, you could be a good blood for Grunge in its time. But you have the sweetness of the great, that range of voice that powers that beautiful everything.
