If an extension or floor of an house was constructed by obtaining permit by permit tax with all rules ®ulations of Kerala building Construction Act. For this, we need pay further, one time tax by village people, another tax/cess by Labour dept and above all luxury tax if cross, 300 Sq mt. Whereas, if the house was extended or constructed, another floor without following the rules and regulations of Govt, the this could be regularity by voluntarily declaring and paying property tax or fine. BUut, no village one Time tax, no luxury tax if cross 300 Sq mt and also no Labour's cess etc. Here, who is suffering by way of these tax payment- only the rule following citizens

Dear sri Raman kumaran Your statement is very true. At present there is laxity in collecting One time tax, luxuary tax and cess correctly and now officials have set a target for collecting all these correctly. As you said no efforts is being made to collect the above said taxes which are extra for parts for extension of building and there is a good deal of failure in this regard as well
