Love the video. super informative. A few questions: What watt diode laser were you using? (10w or 20w) Have you/Can you do similar testing on EVA foam? (in a similar thickness) Thx!

Your videos are SO informative, clear, concise and to the point, thank you for posting them. Do you have any information on making an enclosure and where to buy appropriate plexiglass for a window? I’m waiting for my Ortur 20 watt laser to arrive and continue to prepare for it by learning from you. Thank you.

@@DIY3DTECHcom you’re welcome, thank you. The G8 lens you also recommended, I checked the link and it’s on eBay for about 20.00, does that sound right? And do you sell the mount for that as well as the air nozzle mount? I don’t have a 3D printer to be able to make myself. I would be happy to purchase them from you.

G8 is a must have for any diode laser as its depth of focus is so deep it is a must for cutting thicker objects such as foam or even cardboard.

Bless you once again. My laser arrives on HALLOWEEN!! OMG I am so excited! What kind of air pump is good for air assist? I have a nozzle from a 3D Maker on Etsy. It is very sturdy. I am quite happy with the construction. I already have plenty of medical hose from other projects. But I would like to pick up an adequate air pusher before i get started.
