I do not have an ork army myself but a friend of mine lent me theirs and they were amazingly fun to play with, I was waiting for the combat patrol but sadly it's not as good as I thought it would be. I don't think the variety is worth it, I'm not a fan personally but I like having hordes of cannon fodder myself.

A fun army to play with and against! 😁 The bad thing about having such specific units and theme is that, that people will like it or dislike it. It is difficult to have a middle point there… 😅. I totally get your point of view.
