Orions Belte - New Years Eve #2 (Live from The Scenic Route streaming tour)
Музыка
The Scenic Route is a unique streaming tour. Orions Belte is visiting five different locations in the beautiful western parts of Norway. When the three members of Orions Belte went in to pandemic lockdown, they decided they would tour in a different way than usual with little or no audience, a camera guy and a sound engineer. The route includes a bakery in Telemark, an old movie theatre, on top of this mountain in Sognefjorden, a farm and a cider brewery.
This is "New Years Eve #2" live from Mulakamben (580 moh) in Fresvik, a tiny place where they grow the very best raspberries in Sognefjorden, Norway.
Visit VIERLIVE to get access to the whole streaming experience:

Fresvik is one of our favourite places in all of Norway, and in this little community (with the greatest raspberries on the planet) they host the magnificent Fres Festival each year. Unfortunately they had to cancel the festival in 2020. But with the help of Bøtun Adventure Group, Orions Belte was able to play on top of the mountain of Mulakamben looking down on the festival site. Fresvik is located right at the entrance of Nærøyfjorden, which is a part of the Unesco World Heritage list. It is also the birth place of the greatest long distance runner in history, Mensen Ernst.

Man, this song hits some really sweet spots in the nostalgia-producing part of my brain. It evinces a sense of comfort and home to me. Beautiful piece of music. Coupled with the grand vista, you've got a gorgeous video here.

I wish I could get a transcript for the guitar in this song -- very intrigued by the theory behind it. Awesome blend of melody and chords going on!

Really gorgeous and tight playing, gents.. the scenic background doesn't hurt either! Would love to know what's in the pedal rig for that bass, the tone is off the charts.
I especially like the track named Joe Frazier on the album Mint. A good follow up to Miles Davis’s Jack Johnson.

This is great. The spotify version doesn't seem to have the same kick to it in my opinion. I have no idea how difficult it would be but i think you should replace it with this recording.

Artists definitely need to start uploading live sessions to streaming platforms. Imo they're usually better but I prefer to listen to someone live.

Wooowwww 🥵❤️🙏🏻
Oof these tempo changes
I'm a pedal noob but a couple questions here. What pedals are you using, and how do you get your natural guitar voice to stand out in the mix while the delay trickles in the background? I have a flashback, and the delay just kind of loses my tone in the mud of the delay. Love you guys so much
@OrionsBelte
2 жыл бұрын
Hey! Thanks. I use two different delay pedals after each other, an mxr carbon copy, and a catalinabread montavillian. The mxr has fairly short delay time, but many repeats and the mix button turned up a bunch, the montavillian has the slowest delay time possible with few repeats and mix pretty low. Haven't used the flashback, but maybe try to turn the level button a bit down if it feels muddy. And just fool around with all kinds of settings, that's the fun part about pedals. Suddenly something really cool pops out. Hope this helps!
Can you play Maze?

I stream to no one most of the time since I'm just starting out but I would just like to get your permission if that's possible at all? If not, no worries! Not too many mics, not too much wind, hehe. Also, we brought our mixing engineer wizard Matias Tellez to do the live mix with a small digital console.
