I don't think he's gettin surgery. It's been real quiet other than I heard a quick comment about him being done for the season. He's about 30 years old and never got into pitching shape. They tried various approaches with him and now he's getting bypassed by others since the pitching quality has improved. I'm in his corner and I think he's his own worst enemy. I hope they got him relegated to a fat farm and layed out his workouts and nutrition program and left nothing for him to decide on his own and gave him the ultimatum. Last offseason he said he worked on lifting heavy weights to get strong enough to make it through a whole season. He gave himself arm injuries in the past cuz he's not generating power from his lower half...so if he don't shape up the O's is gonna give up on him cuz they don't have a spot for him no more like he is

Lopez of the Braves mowed the O's down. Stowers homer was exciting. Double sweep not in the cards. Phillies next. Saw Gunner up there in the MLB hitter rankings.Not bad company to be in with Aaron Judge. Westy would be in my hitter trust.
I wonder if some of the sloppy is coming from fatigue. remember they are in this brutal stretch of 43 games in 45 days. Hopefully they recollect themselves. At the end of the day, if they can keep winning 2 outta every three, they will be fine. Can't win all 162 games. The pitchers adjusted to Cowser in May, and now he is adjusting to them. Give him time. Can't really argue with your assessment otherwise.
