@@samanthasau4086 The lighting was different back then. People were ALOT lighter in person than they appeared.on the show. She was always very light skinned. Honestly I knew her from around the scene. Now a days they know how to light black people and things are no where near close. Look at the movies and photos from the 70s and 80s u will see that. Also being a Cali girl we do go to the beach and get out in the sun. Afro people DO get tan/darker. As people get older they aren't out in the sun as much. She is just her natural color. Is not that much to read into. She didn't change her color or race. Simply not true!!

Just think while all this happiness soultrain laughing having fun. Jeffery dahmer started. Killing gay black men since 1978. And just got caught in the 90s. I'm just too smart sometimes. Too enjoy. Life. Good. Show. But was truely. A illusion. But let us fantasy. We will not let. Hate win everything is a setup hope it turn in too good for all. Forgive move on too the next chapter. God. Is the only power that could save us.
She was so pretty and elegant 💜 and still is!!
Hell yes! Soul Train is American history. Didn't matter who you were - Soul Train was on we stopped and watched. See what they were wearing, the latest moves and beautiful music. Best of times. Thank you for dancing and bringing us joy.
OMG, I almost passed out for her when I saw her slow dancing with Marvin❤️❤️❤️❤️

I loved watchin her dance with her signature style even to this day. She was fierce and one of the iconic dancers on Soul Train. This is the essence of the black women I grew up with.
Your dance is better than the TWERK!!!!!
Girrrl you and Marvin, that was a blessing 🤗 I loved hearing that story.
I loved this show. We do our own soul train line at parties now. Everyone wanted to be on it. People who don't know are missing out.
She was fly then & she fly now!! I remember her🙌🏽🙌🏽 The soul train dancers still look good😍
She used to go to my church and I NEVER knew this until now! She never talked about this. This is CRAZY!

funny part don't matter WHERE you are in the world, people know exactly what to do
They genuinely had a great time. No cattiness, awesome & she still looks great❣️❤️😍
Yes she is etched in my mind as a dance inspiration from the era I grew up in. I'm glad to see that you are doing just fine and still looking good.
Her outfits were so gorgeous. I would rock her outfits til this day and her hairstyle❤❤❤❤❤
Maaaaaaaaan, what memories! Soul Train Forever! 🙋🏿♂️😎👏🏿👏🏿Queen Evette Moss was a big reason why I tuned in to Soul Train each week "Back in the Day." She still does and will always look fantastic! I came here to see her unique dance, and her "Swag and confidence!" Who's here with me? ☺️
It’s awesome to hear their stories! I’m smiling from ear to ear the entire clip and whew, that part with Marvin, whew!!! I was born at the wrong time!! 😩❤️❤️
I love that little shimmy dance she does, she was working them little long legs, it was a really cute signature move that set her apart from everybody else. You couldn't miss her and her shimmy out there shining and shimmying like a twinkle star in her sequins and hot pants. You'd think she was taller as long as her legs are, she's definitely one of my favs from Soul Train. And I'm convinced that Soul Train gave them dancers some fountain of youth juice because everybody still looks like they're ready to dance on down the Soul Train line like it's 1979. They haven't aged a bit. 🤣🤣🤣 LOL

Right, I thought she was tall. 😂
Oh snap when she said she was the person who started the line...I didnt remember her until then!! THATS TRUE!!!!
Evette Moss is my favorite soultrain female dancer she is so sexy and pretty and her moves drives me wild. I am so happy that she is getting props that she deserves and she represented herself and soultrain very well during the interview.
