Dancing keeps you young at heart, keeps you young in your mind and all that dancing keeps you fit ad young! That was our fun. Kids put down your phones, your gidgets and gadgets , put on some of the music and have some fun! When I was young we used to get together and dance just learning then when you got old enough you got dressed up to go out dancing. That's why like he said every one was tall and thin. Dancing is a work out!

To this day even right now I can pull out my fox tails, I know where they are.. I always looked for his tails when the camera panned the Soul Train dance floor, the idea about them bringing him attention and getting him noticed first , worked, then once I found him on the dance floor he was easy to follow. Its amazing how an accessory came bring so much attention. Then once I knew where on the floor he was, I concentrated on his dance moves. Really enjoyed his going down the line with or without a partner, he had all the moves..
Because of this dude, I always wanted a fox tail 😂
All of the dancers look so youthful, it really shows when you do something you love. :)

Mr. Foxtail man💖 I remember faithfully watching Soul Train when I was a little girl in the 1970s. And a teenager lady in the 1980s. I thought that he was related to Mr. Jeffery Daniel. If,only we had a Time Machine, therefore I could travel back to my two favorite Decades of the 1970s & 1980s🌹🌹
WE NEED MORE STORIES WITH FORMER SOUL TRAIN DANCERS‼️‼️ so fun and interesting. This is why most of us subscribed.
Soul Train - Watched on Saturday mornings (after School House Rock) while you did your house chores and your father and brother were outside doing yard work. You only stopped working when the groups came on; even then you had to keep a watchful eye for the doorway lest your parents yelled your name and walked into the living room to catch you watching TV while your chores were incomplete. If you could get away with it, you watched the performance, then got back to work while dancing and singing, of course.
