original song - high school shooter
Another older project- if you're following me on Instagram, you've probably seen this one already. This is probably my favorite chord progression and picking pattern(?) that I've used so far, although I have to tune my guitar really strangely to get it lol
Originally the working title for this song was "sad song, question mark" but I thought that was boring and vague so here's "high school shooter," which.. isn't much better, honestly. I'm open to new ideas. Name aside, this song was made in the midst of a really strong Julien Baker kick and it's mostly just about not feeling right in the world. Hopefully that conveys well, and hope yall enjoy the song!

Such a unique song. Reminds me kinda of a song I wrote with some similar themes --- suicide mixed with various imagery. I also wrote a poem one time about school shooters, although that's different because in my poem the narrator is the shooter (which is kinda fucked up tbh but that's the intention for the poem). I like the fingerstyle arrangement too with the walking bassline.
