I just got the original iPad today from my 2nd dad alongside a 30 pin connected charger and kids percussion sounding chungus
I remember watching an old video from a while ago of some guy dropping it when it first came out, and it falling flat and absolutely destroying the display, so throughout the entire scratch test it just made me cringe lmao, but good video, and welcome back I guess

Haha thanks, I wasn’t expecting the display to last long at all either. The non-laminated displays tend to shatter easier and usually worse than newer laminated displays.

@@EwansTechWreck The free floating glass just makes everything worse because once that digitiser shatters, it's all over for the touch screen, same thing happened to my iPad mini 1. Was planning on destroying one of these things soon too lol
