Those red US D2's were rare in 1999, now in 2024 its even more insane you have one.

I do love these devices, but they definitely improved on the features with the D3 and the D-Ark. Yet again, an absolute pleasure to work on this video with you! I'll continue my journey with the D2 and see where I end up!

Ooh, I can actually help with the card game!! When the cards flip, you have a split second to press either A or B (or both) to attack “enemy” digimon. If you accidentally hit a friend, it counts as a loss on that turn. These devices were actually my first exposure to Digimon. I got an orange D2 as a gift one year, but I had no idea what to do with it, so I stuck it in a junk drawer. A million years later when I rediscovered Digimon, it occurred to me that I had gotten one of these as a kid. Found it in my old childhood bedroom and got it up and running again! I love this device and its derpy sprites (my Gabumon profile pic is a sprite from this device that I colored). I’m glad to see you showing some love for it, especially since there’s next to nothing in the way of guides and playthroughs for the western release of the D2. Great work!

YOOOO! Thanks for the info, I just tested it and you're absolutely right! A will attack the Digimon on the left and B the right. If you hit enemies, you gain steps and if you hit friends you lose steps. This is very valuable information, especially as there's basically no info online like you've said, and I'll be sure to put it to good use! 💜

Epic Digivice play through! Love the red Digivice never seen that before. I had that same line in my Digivice blue the one from my childhood and wen I put a piece of cardboard in battery area the line disappeared. This device and the d3 are hands down the best digivices epic sprites and much more playability. Nice penz cameo battle. Those plushies are sick! It’s nice that the background for custom dim is your ends nice. That walk away with Digivices was a perfect shot bro! Thank you Ryan! And thanks for the epic journey Alex and uchu! Epic!

So many awesome things in this video. Love those original digivices, Ryan is a geeze for sending that to you! Love the background detail on the metalvegiemon dim, so cool. I very much want to get hold of one of these digivices again. I had the orange one as a kid, which I unfortunately dropped in a puddle and could not fix. My mum was kind enough to buy me a blue replacement which I had for many years but was sadly lost at some point during one house move or another. I'm always on the lookout for a reasonably priced one though, but they tend to go for quite a bit. 😅

I still have my 90’s digivice….. I have the orange digivice. The digivice complete version is now my daily walking device since it’s sooo easy to play. But soon I plan on getting the 15th Anniversary Tai version device for my collection. I hope to see other season digivices on your channel soon. I really enjoy your videos.

Sweet childhood nostalgia 😍. I have both the orange & blue digivices still to this day (on display of course 😂). I grew up on DBZ, Pokemon & Digimon but Digimon Adventure holds a special place in my heart. Its the goat 🐐. Loved this video 👍

Ace video as always, Alex! I half expected someone to run up and nick the two Digivices at the end there. I actually had the green version of these devices as a child, I must have been really rough with it because it ended up falling apart. Little did I know what a gold mine it would turn out to be.

I love these devices so much. This makes me want to pull mine out. Unfortunately my blue digivice also has a screen issue but i love it all the same.

Those devices, man. I remember getting those and thinking they were like vpets i had earlier cause they said Digimon on them, i think i found those before i even watched the show and the action figures too, man i was so disappointed when i booted them up and they were nothing like the Vpets 😂 i'd probably give them a fair shot today if i could find one at a decent price.
