Origami Seamless Cube

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Having trouble? Try my slower tutorial here: • Origami Seamless Cube ...
[Intermediate] How to fold a cube that does not have any creases or folds on any of the faces. This is my version of the classic cube from a 4X4 grid which was independently designed by Kazuo Haga, Kunihiko Kasahara, John Montroll and Jacob Ewing, all of whose cubes slightly differ but share the same basic structure and locking mechanism. I also designed a seamless octahedron and taught it here: • Seamless Octahedron

I watched both this and the redo several times, stopping the video several times so I could follow. I found it to be very clear if you pay attention and go slow. I think the original makes more sense and is in a way easier, once you grasp the concept. Thanks

This is an excellent video. I haven’t done much origami, and I was able to do this on the first try (pausing the video a lot). The last part is a little tricky the first time, and some may find Jeremy’s “Redo” video a little easier to follow. Nice job, Jeremy, and thanks for doing this.

It might be a bit late to say “thank you”, but anyway, there you go: thank you 😉. A few years ago, when I did’t think anybody ever cared if I liked a video or not, I bought the “Origami for the Connoisseur” due to you. A few years later, I have to restart the fight - namely to try and remember the models-I had only begun to fold them then, but gave up due to various reasons (including a bike accident => left clavicle was broken). Now I have a better fitness level, a more productive garden but, technically speaking, lower IQ and less origami memory - not that I had much back then. Anyway, thank you. Hopefully, my memory will work better this time.
