Took me 4 attempts. The first time I tried to fold this model, this project was beyond me. The second time, I screwed up the head. This dragon is OK, but not what I wanted. The third time, I got excited and screwed up the wings. The fourth time, I discovered the limits of the paper. The paper had a plastic feel to it and the creases broke through the color :(. I'm ready to fold it using good paper, so time to follow the link Jo gives and get some of the really nice paper he uses. My teacher says that I am a high intermediate folder. He's convinced me that, to up my game, it's time for me to use better quality paper.

Besides this I was able to make squirrel, unicorn (my favourite), reindeer and dolphin. Owl was quite difficult for me :). I am just a beginner. Thanks for all your vedios

I memorized the other dragon instructions so I make them at school, but its kinda boring now bc I've made it so much and a lot of people there have them, so I'm planning on memorizing this one too. Since its similar to the other one it should only take 2 or so times watching through, as the other one took about 4. These designs are so cool and my peers love them!

It seems so simple, but requires a certain precision and discipline gained through practice. There is also a satisfaction that comes with finally being able to fold one of Jo's models on the first try, bc it usually takes me 3 or 4. Don't give up.

It took me about an hour, but it was worth it :D For people who are struggling at a certain part, skip a few seconds forward from where you are at and look at what that fold becomes and why it is important. If you don’t know what you are doing and it seems like the step is not that important, you can skip it (as long as it is towards the end).

Excelente tutorial e modelo, Jo!

it took my 3 tries and the purchase of some 24 centimeter by 24 centimeter origami paper to finally complete. I love it so much and he looks so cute! to anyone thinking of attempting this, I recommend getting some nice origami paper that is larger than 20 centimeters. 24 centimeter paper worked out really well for me and the size is perfect. the larger paper made it easier for me to fold

Jasper Feldschuh yeh my first one I gave to my grandma as a birthday gift and idfk what she did with it but I spent like 2 hours on it :( (couldn’t find it in her house assuming she threw something I worked so hard on away or actually kept it somewhere idk I didn’t wanna put her on the spot tho and ask where it is) and I made it just now a 2nd time and it’s for my favorite teacher (math teacher)

@@xminecraftbestxibest9307 my crush loved the dragon I made for her. She keeps it on her bedside table. Over time the legs of the dragon gradually have drifted farther and farther apart and now the dragon doesn't stand up properly anymore 😂. Now she is constantly pestering me for some more origami and is now my girlfriend. how did your math teacher like the dragon?

Jasper Feldschuh she loved it it sits beside her on her desk and yah the legs slowly ripped in the center and drifted slowly apart hard to make something like this with thick paper that’s why the video person did it isn’t tissue paper

I made this twice now, it takes me within 1 hour to make but I really hate when you fold it so much that the very middle rips due to how many times you fold it. Atleast for me. I was using a small 16 cm piece of Paper so it was a bit tough I sadly do have a rip in the center but it’s on the crease line so unless you look straight down at the dragon it’s alright
