Oriental cats are the funniest most gentle felines of all. They may be related to the Siamese, but having both I do see the vast difference between them. I love their big ears, their small angular heads, almond eyes and their loving sassy personalities. Yours is stunning! Mine has the same markings but she is grey with black markings and emerald eyes. 💜

Roy’s fur pattern looks psychedelic. And those long lanky limbs!❤❤❤ he’s beautiful.

Not your typical looking "House Cat" . Can't help but be Transfixed and Mesmerized by this strangely beautiful looking animal.

Roy is clearly a sweet boy. Even after repeated warnings to stop grabbing his paws he did not fuck you up when you kept doing it anyway. He would have been well within his rights to do so.

What a goofy looking thing. I love him. It's a good thing he doesn't live with me because we have very strong winds here. He'd fly away with those ears. I'd have to tie a string to his tail and name him Kite.

I so totally agree with you. Love my kitties. I have a big orange baby that has the loudest purr every time he eats. He purrs all throughout his meal. I have 8 purr babies and love them to pieces.

I love 💕 THIER faces. Would love to have one.already have 7 well spoiled, rescused babies that were abandoned when the owners just up and moved away. Poor things ain’t poor no more, chubby, spayed and neutered. Cat beds everywhere.

Oh he's doing that thing which cats do so well. The front end is saying 'yes please' and the other end is saying 'no thanks'!

Just a tip. Adopt. Don’t shop! But, yeah. Oriental Shorthairs are lovely Cats. I wish I could have one, myself, but really, any sweet kitty needing a home & Family would be welcome. Try a rescue organization for OS first, before a breeder. There are so many shelter cats & strays available. Due to the overpopulation of cats on the planet. There’s no need for even more of them in this World.

@@traekas7228 Oh trust me, I am very much an adopter not a shopper for the most part but Oriental Shorthairs are in such demand that finding them in shelters is an ultra rare thing, so I did what I felt was the best thing and got on the waiting list with a local breeder who happens to be a vet tech and raises beautiful, loving babies. She also encourages people to look at local shelters too, which I did before going this route. There's something about this breed that just pulled me in and told me I needed to adopt one. So I am going with it and I am glad of it.

Desert Rain Honestly, this is a really great way to get a kitty you’ve been wanting for years & have been adopting for years : ) I have a love,y shelter boy of 4 years with me now! Always ready for a new kitty ahaha! I would love to do smth like this in the future, only with 3 breeds of cats & 1 dog. I can see myself having many many many shelter cats throughout my life! Buying a new born too, from someone who’s reliable is always good too! Those babes need homes too at the end of the day : ) And I always say a cat getting adopted into a loving home is always a good thing! 😊 I hope you get your future baby soon or already have the sweety pie!! Good luck the two of you! I hope you two become great buds! :,) 😄

Looked up this breed on a site called ‘Daily Paws’ and that’s exactly one of the ways they describe their appearance. The other way is “ reminiscent of a chihuahua.” Very unusual- don’t think I’d ever seen one before!

@@tinydancergirl4598 If you haven't already seen the "Hobbikats" (that's the channel name), they are 4 Oriental Shorthairs. Their names are Teddy, Bindi, Dexter and Stache. Teddy and Bindi are 'full siblings' (they have the same mom and dad, but were born in 2 different litters.) Teddy doesn't meow....he 'honks', LOL. Anyways, Stache is _my_ favorite.....he has a little mustache, lol. 💗

@@erikd2256 and LoopyLyn, yes, I always felt it was a privilege when my cats allowed me to play with their paw pads. I could do just about anything with all those sweeties! Just walk in the room and they burst into loud purrs. But closest thing to living with a wild animal. This kit is gorgeous, funny name, "Roy!"

@loopylyn6548: Generally yes and it looked like Roy had reached a "thresh hold " and didn't like it, however if a cat does allow you to touch their feet, it is a sign of the ultimate trust, and one of our cats, Rudy doesn't mind his feet being touched.

From the time my cat was a kitten, I did leg grabs and holds, and now she loves them. They are actually very comforting for her. And it also helps for when you need to trim their claws.

I used to have 3 Oriental Shorthairs...they were beautiful. KINKY, her tail had a kink in it and looked broken, LITTLE GUY, who was quiet and so scared of everything, and GOGGLES, she was so verbal! She would meow constantly and get in the bath with me. I miss my kitties. This one looks just like my only boy. ❤️
