Slaw and his best mate wear swingers badges for a laugh 🤦🏻‍♀️ They would run a mile if anyone approached them 🤣 It’s become a bit of a joke in our group now, and when we spotted these shirts at a bargain price in York, they just had to buy them, and the other fellas followed suit like daft beggars 🤣🤣🤣

Hi Slaws' Recently found you. A lovely watch on a couple of your blogs viewed. Love the friendship you have with your mates and the good times you have together. The railway museum is fantastic, took our children there once when there was a Thomas the tank engine exhibition , just brilliant 😊. I've probably been about 10 times 😅

Love it we live 10 miles north of york i can remember when the sidings opened York is so near and a beautiful place it must have been flooded 5 times this year but always copes😀😀

Thanks Ian! We had such a great time at The Sidings! Luckily our carriages were on stilts as the ground below was flooded 😢 That’s why we ended up at the York Castle museum, because the Bird of Prey centre was flooded.

As usual another great VLOG from the Slaws. Hopefully you will be back on the road again soon, hopefully to warmer climes.

Thank you! It’s a great place to stay. Grandma had the dogs. They never want to come home from there 🤣

First of all the Fabulous Angela has an amazing voice...listening to her sing while the rest of you played the ukuleles was brilliant, and the harmonica just added to the atmosphere. Secondly, i want to be in the Pineapple Club😂...you guys have the best fun. The Sidings looks very welcoming and friendly and the converted carriages were just so lovely. Thankyou for taking us along with you. Where we off to next then?😂 take care guys ❤

Hi Peta, Angela is just fabulous at everything she does (apart from unnecessarily adding coke to drinks 🤣) We are very lucky to have such a great bunch of mates. We’ve just booked the ferry for our next big road trip at the end of May (still planning the detail) but some weekends and other vlogs in between. Thanks for watching ❤️

Wow what a great place and the food looks amazing. How was the bed and shower? Did you get to see any trains passing. Enjoyed the walk round York and the Valhalla bar looks a great place to visit. Well done both of you on your yuk playing it was great ❤

Thanks Nicola! The bed was comfy and the shower powerful! The only downside to our room was no wardrobe and only one very small mirror which was in the bathroom. We can only get better with the Ukes 🤣

Excellent, I'm not staying with family when I next go back to York , I'm going to the sidings 😅. Dad worked for British Rail , I worked at the Royal Station Hotel in York and at the Great Northern Hotel, Kings Cross so I'm a bit of a train person. I can't go anywhere without having a look at their train station 😅. Brilliant vlog as usual 😊❤

Thank god the bathroom window was tinted. Imagine being on the 8:15 commuter and seeing Mr Slaws arse! Next time in York the other original House of Trembling Madness is worth a look. Part of it dates to 1180. Plus Mrs Slaw can laugh at everyone banging their heads when they go to the toilet. Have to look the place up as love Greek food and the place looks brilliant. Here’s another greek phrase for you “kali nikta na klanis oli nikta” which means goodnight i hope you fart all nights
