@@worldpeace8299 It's just people of a similar mind set and political leaning enjoying two prominent individuals debating the issues of the day with a similar mind set. Untempered instinct... seems something that's gripped the far-left in America and the cultural left here in the UK. Would explain the even narrower constraints that the cultural left seem to be operating by and hence there slowly turning on each other. Also the degrading of debate and witch hunts in our universities. Justifying hatred of minority groups? Must have missed that part of the video. Come on, that's a bit of a lazy shot isn't it. It's like me stating a Novara Media, or Guardian subscriber automatically hates everyone in England outside of the the M25 or a university campus, especially if they own a white van or property.

How refreshing - a civilised discussion with wit, rational thinking and humour. On the BBC these days there is just anger, constant interrupting and a disregard for the truth. Thank you Douglas and Farage for an enjoyable and reasoned talk.

If Douglas Murray thinks we can turn it around that gives me so much hope. Thank you both for being the voice of reason.

I have recently read the Strange Death of Europe and the Madness of Crowds and ever since, I've prayed that Douglas would talk to Nigel because they both say the same things in different styles. I was beside myself with joy when this popped up in Notifications. The ordinary plebs like me need to wake up and see it isn't only the EU the remoaners want to force upon us, it's their wacky woke, apologist agenda such as support for BLM, trans rights etc. I don't get why the Tories are seemingly too scared to stand up and tell the liberal lot that they can sod off, it ain't happening,! world peace I’m a small c conservative (UK conservative and I say that because I think it means something different in each country). Given the voting system we have I tend to vote for the Conservative Party and was a local councillor many years ago. But I don’t see the party as faultless on various issues so I tend to think of myself as small c conservative these days.

I would say that its not two labour parties, just like when blair was about it wasn't two tory parties, because both parties aren't what they are suppose to be, i think the better description of the parties is neo liberal and pro globalization, both parties couldn't give a shit about the ordinary people. Labour gave up on representing the labour of the country long ago, and the tories gave up the basic conservative principles around the same time.

I think the role of being an MP suffered through being in the EU so long. Running a country independently requires a different mindset and in the civil service too. Transforming through this change doesn't happen quickly overnight. Plus of course the pandemic has messed things up. The point about Blair having 50% attend university wasn't fully appreciated, until now we see it as a production line for activists. Many years ago my dad was a lecturer at a Polytechnic and the emphasis was different back then.

@@richardk5246 Douglas Murray has expressed concerns, on a few occasions, about the west's departure from it's Christian roots. On this, him & I are in agreement.

Good Lord I love these guys.🧡 I am not British, I am European in the sense that I am half Portuguese and half Dutch by descent. But I always admired Britain. It is my favourite country in the world, that I just can't get enough of. It is a great dream of mine to actually immigrate there someday, and I admire both Douglas and Nigel for standing up and protecting core British values despite societal pressures such as BLM and constant demonization of British history. Keep doing the great job lads, and I agree with Douglas. Truth always prevails. It's something that is even in the Bible: "The truth will set you free" - John 8:32 At the end of the day, they can do what they want, but truth will win one way or another. It is hell to win, but we will. God speed gents. Much love from South Africa and keep doing what you do. Cheers🇿🇦🧡🇬🇧

The problem is we do not have a Conservative government. They are nothing like a Conservative government. That's why there will be a need for Nigel to give the voters an alternative Party to vote for at the next General Election.

Martyn Hunter . Agreed, we have a Conservative Party, but sadly the Boris Government and Cabinet have not acted or shown themselves to be Conservative. We need a right of centre party with clear political conviction who are not afraid to upset the enemy.

Two of my favourite people. Nigel and Douglas always hoist the flags of fairness, honesty and insight. Thank goodness we have people like these who dont listen to the madness we find ourselves surrounded by. They are both beacons of light and truth

They have aired things like this, but usually we have an opposing voice to counter some of the claims made. And I am guessing here that your anti BBC stance is the usual nonsense propaganda that it is too left leaning. This video wasn't an interview, it was a planned event.

@@worldpeace8299 The BBC a certainly isn’t a socialist organisation, but it is a woke one. I generally think that companies support the ‘woke’ movement to cover up the real causes of people’s problems which might upset their position if anybody tried to remedy them.

Douglas Murray is a modern-day Socrates. As Socrates once said, “If you want to be always wrong, just follow the masses.”

@@jasoncarey8841 I can’t recall, I think it was either Apology of Socrates by Plato or Apology of Socrates to the Jury by Xenophon of Athens. I don’t believe it was from Plato’s Republic.

When i came across this discussion between Douglas and Nigel my world stopped for 25 minutes. I have been wanting a discussion between these two men for a long time. What i have heard is agreement and understanding of this countries problems and that those problems need tackling head on. Thank you gentlemen for such a wonderful conversation. I agree with you because i feel lonely in my own country when i do not think i should but societal freedoms seem to have faded away.

These two would be the best politicians to have in power,rather than the traitors we've had for many years.

I’ve just read “The strange death of Europe” & “The madness of crowds”, they are both excellent reads explaining the challenges we face in western culture. Douglas Murray is a voice that needs to be heard more. Great video Nigel, keep up the good work!

You are wrong, of course, because I do have the stomach for this shit, and I see through it. I have become fascinated by the writings of the Nazi's recently, and this kind of stuff sits uncomfortably close to much of it.

"Here's a problem, here are two solutions. This one is virtuous and good and one is evil" This is very true about when I studied A-Level Sociology a few years ago. They started off teaching us about the 'functionalist' view of things, then moved on to the Marxist interpretation with a certain level of 'well this is obviously the better perspective' attitude and then moved on further to go on about postmodernism. The way it was taught in this order sort of implies 'This is what we used to think but we've moved on'. I got into a lot of arguments with my teacher about this.

Same here! At university conflict theory seemed to be the most prominent in our sociology modules. Functionalism was a side note.
