@@cakoafterdark Funny you should say that actually, I treated myself to Game Pass a few days ago and have been playing LiS 2. I just finished episode 2 and so far I definitely like it a lot, probably on-par with the first game for the time being.

My mom died one year ago, I just opened this game again after around 3 years ago, I cried so hard, this music reminds me my mom, I got this game durig the situation with COVID and I usted to spend time with her talking and cooking, what a good game and what a good mom I had.

True man, almost every second of this game scene can be used for wallpaper. Though not the best metroidvania, soundtrack on this game is really heart-warming and definitely worth money and time.

All my runs were awesome and I will still play Ori every now and then just to travel through Sorrow's Pass again! My fav run was when I self imposed a Hard + No upgrades challenge just to get 2 achievements at one. It was a pain in the ass but I would do it again lol.

Hollow Knight's theme isn't quite as emotional, but I would say it's just as appropriate for it's game.

I would play this game at nights, while my older brother would watch me and ridicule me for playing it in hard mode and dying every 3 minutes. I always told him i loved this intro song because it would hit me deep in the feelings, i even told him once that i played the game because naru resembled him very much, he was big and always caring for me and my mom. I would never ever thought that this would be the last game he would watch me play.. he died 3 months ago, and listening to this just breaks me appart.

Nine years ago, i find him. A white, but almost gray because the dirt on his hair cat. He adopted me. He saved me. I was playing this marvelous game, so his name came to my mind like a spark. Today, he lost the fight against a lungs infection. Wherever you are. Ill miss you forever, Ori.

This is the single most beautiful track I have ever heard. And I've listened to a LOT of soundtracks. This is the music I want the universe to play when I die and my life flashes before my eyes. The equivalent of a last meal for my ears.

Fun fact: All Ori themes were made by huge orchestra that counts up to 83 people. Music was created in real time and later slightly edited. Thats the reason why I like Microsoft, for having even the smallest attention to details.

Just saw an orchestra concert called Game On, playing many popular songs from video games such as WoW, Assassins Creed, Witcher etc. I can't remember which song they played from this game, but it touched my soul in a way I can't describe, I teared up. I need to play this game.

As adorable as Ori is(9/10 would snuggle), am I the only one who thinks he kind of looks like a white, less fluffy Stitch with a hint of squirrel?

Ori has to be the most beautiful and emotionally touching game ive ever played, the story and music all are majestic, and Ori's main menu theme is just beautiful on a whole new level, this game is just a masterpiece. And I wont leave out the second game, both hold a special place in my heart

Oh, and the fact that my current computer can't even handle the game! Like... I would start it and there would be missing textures, plus tons of lag... The only way I fan play it is at my local library on one of the Gaming Computers. Luckily it only takes like 10 minutes to download it. But I can only play it for an hour at a time...

While I am a Playstation guy, this game will always hold a special place in my heart.

This is a game that i wish I could play again and again and again many times over just to get that feeling that I had the first time I played it😭. I wish i could go back in time to feel the exactly same feelings again. Absolutely amazing game. I have a huge ball in my stomach every time I hear this song and see footage of this game.

I know this comment is old af but I recently played this for the first time and had to take a break after the prologue because I wasn’t sure what to expect out of this game but I definitely wasn’t expecting my feelings to be assaulted. What a truly beautiful game this was, I’m glad I got to it and disappointed I put it off for so long. Better late than never I guess. Time for Will of the Wisp

My story ( please don't judge, i dont know English well) : I bought this game and it was just hanging out on my desktop for a month. I didn't played it because i heard that it was incredibly good...and I didn't want to play it because if it's sucked it will break my heart....but at some point i ran out of games that i like to play, and my only option was ori....damn if i ever regret to open the game and hear the main theme..... I burst to cry imidideatly...,and it was a tears of loy and sadness at the same time...This is a masterpiece...Imagine yourself watching UP or WALLIE or any of the Pixar sad movies and wanting to be part of the storie, THAT is what this game is about !!! You progress through the saddest story and trying to make the best of you of being good....But....I can't....i just can't express my self....just trust me....this is a good game, it's s masterpiece if i can say so myself !Try it ) You wil not be disappointed . ( Again sorry for the bad English, im from Russia )

You ever finish a game and then just chill at the menu screen taking it all in? Well Ori is the rare series where they cater to even that part of your journey.

The minute I play this game for the first time I was like “Why is the main menu trying to make me cry” Then I play the game and I was like “Oh”

When I play other games like Halo, Fallout,etc. I can't wait till I'm done with the story and can move on to the next game but every now and again I find a game with art so beautiful,music so touching,and characters that I can't help but love to play as or along side with. This is one of those games I may enjoy playing those other games but when I finished playing Ori I wanted nothing more than for the story to keep going. I wanted to hear more of the music,see more of the art,and keep playing as Ori. What I'm saying is I love this game and only ever spoken so highly about two other games. Moon Studios has done a wonderful job and I hope they keep it up.

I don't have words to express the beauty of this track/video. An amazing piece that touches you in many ways you can't explain.

I at least still play both. This game in particular I could barely get past the title screen, i couldnt even get past the intro when i knew what i was going on. This game got me to cry quicker than Heavy Rain

this game is such great work of art. the art style is stunning (dust, odin's sphere and ori for best art in gaming) music is breath taking anyone got suggestions for games like this on steam

You could try Child of Light, which features beautifully drawn graphics and a wonderful soundtrack, as well as To The Moon, which - despite being "RPG Maker" style - has a wonderful, highly emotional story and an equally emotional soundtrack to go with it. :)

+Icey have it actually all three .... if I remember correctly..... never played them as I got them Tuesday and sinc then I've had 2 12hr day shifts then a 12 hr night shift that wasnt supposed to happen and the I worked 3 sat to Mon 12 hr then got a call to work Tues and wedsenday ( today) then I work Thurs and Fri 12 hr ...... so needless to say, time to game ISN'T on my side as time to do things is limited to practically nothing

One game I can get lost in forget about everything the music great as is the story and visuals

This soundtrack is a masterpiece. Just insane.

That game touched my heart like nothing before. I cryed at the sad moments and was really happy at the beutiful and heart warming moments (Like at the end of the game) This is the first game in my entire life, that I've played more then once, to see everything of this world. If you start to cry at this song: Cry! There is no shame to show your emotions. This game shows you so much, that let you feel sad or great. I start to smile at the first moment, I start the game. This game was and will always be in my heart.

I have never cried over a game before. This damn thing is so emotionally driven it’s almost painful.

I just started this game, but I can already tell it's something special...

Ohhh, the many times I cried during this game...

This game was something words can't express, from beginning to end. Before even hitting the start button, I just sat and listened. Before I knew it I heard this song again, and the game was over, and had come full circle.

Shame on the person who disliked this.

After this cutscene I think we were all on the brink of tears tbh

One of the greatest video games I've had the pleasure of playing. Been gaming for over 20 years, no video game has ever made me cry, but Ori and the Blind Forest made me tear up 15 minutes into the game. Gorgeous visuals, amazing soundtrack, beautiful story, and great platforming/puzzle solving gameplay. I loved every minute I spent with this game.

This game talks about grief in such a beautiful way. It doesnt matter who you lost in your life... A friend... A parent... A child... A familly... A community you belonged to... If you ever lost someone close to you , this game is going to find that one grief within you and everything is going to resurface and you wont even be mad. In fact youll love the game even more for being able to it in such a peaceful way.

I actually just played the demo blind ( heh ). I didn't know what to expect. And then I played the beginning... That hurt. This game has such a touching story that your heart strings will be soar the next day.

I was in tears in the prologue, couldn't bring myself to play the game first time.❤️

And Will of the Wisps wasn’t even on the horizon yet. Such beauty from this track and it only got better later
