Organic farming is not sustainable. You may think it is through the eyes of your short lifespan but long term it’s not sustainable. It’s sad that there is this much bad information on here.

It was sustainable throughout the history of agriculture up until the advent of chemical fertilizer, etc, or we wouldn't be here.

I beg to differ. Egypt is the prime example. The pyramids certainly weren’t built in a desert. And the pyramids certainly took several hundred thousand people to build. They certainly ate a high calorie diet and the food certainly wasn’t transported there. They sit in a desert now because the ground was worn out and used and nutrients weren’t replenished There was no chemicals or fertilizer used at the time. Organic farming is only sustainable if resources are pulled from other parts of the of the earth to maintain adequate nutrients to the plant which depletes the resources of that area. Organic agriculture is not sustainable you will eventually deplete resources. No such thing as perpetual motion.

@@ezzybig The thing that you seem to have no clue about is that most of the world outside the US and Canada grows and eats ORGANIC food. Have you traveled much? I have spent a lot of time in Central America and Europe. I learned in both regions that typically the locals grow and eat organic fruits and vegetables because it's actually more expensive to spray with pesticides so a lot of places don't spray. I know many other parts of the world, grow and eat organic fruits and vegetables as well. The US and Canada spray their food the most! I suggest you get on a plane and go see for yourself. Or you can keep believing what you want! Just know that your claim is false! Organic food is actually the NORM outside the US and Canada! Prove me wrong!

@@milesfann33Im from Norway. Non organic is norm here. Organic food is very expensive. But I still prefer organic ofcourse if I can afford it

Oh I have a clue! And I have most certainly traveled. I think you will be surprised at the way food is really raised outside of the USA. And I think you are ill informed about the food raised here in the USA. Why would any grow choose to spend more money on unnecessary pesticides? The consumer drives the market.

Organic farms use organic pesticides, and a few non organic pesticides. You can look them up on USDA’s own website. Do some basic research before making stupid videos
