Ah 10 years ago when I played the saxophone in an orchestra, this was my favourite piece. Glad I found it. It's still great!

I played it with my orchestra as well but I think the brass band version is far better. It must have been written for brass band and rearranged for harmonic orchestra.

Hey, I also was playing this, but at trombone and it was my favourite song to in orchestra. Best from Poland.

I played this at least 25 years ago. Listened many times to this performance. Still gives me goosebumps!

Played the flute in a windband when I was a teenager. God I miss those days, this was our favourite piece! ♥

I love this song, we play it at our school! Quite difficult, but we're getting there. It's an amazing piece, I love the emotion it carries.

youth memories here thanks to you guys, played a bariton in brassband setup... guess must have been 94 or so..

I play this in a concert band, I've only played it once but I play 1st Horn and I love this piece!

I play this piece too, with our youth orchestra. I play the saxophone (alto). I played only 2 months in our orchestra when we got it, and I was shocked. At that moment I thought it was very difficult. Now I like it more because I can play it now... XD Thanks for oploading it.

i like it

listen for WonthaggiCitizens' Brass band playing this piece at VBL in Traralgon. Also at their annual concert later this year October 22 (in Wonthaggi)

I play french horn ... thats cool :D and f**** hard as well when you play something from jacob de haan :D:D:D
