OREGON COAST to MOUNT HOOD | Overlanding From Coos Bay to Mount Hood
Join me, Ed Shin @KrokemOutdoors and Mike @flyfisher530 on an awesome overlanding camping trip through Oregon. We started on the Oregon coast in Coos Bay at Horsfall Dunes National Recreation Area for some beach camping. The next day, we went to Mount Hood and camped in a snow park entrance. We hit some great spots along the way like the Timberline Lodge and the Zig Zag Mountain Cafe. We were sure to cook up some good meals like the @TrailNewbie classic "Shrimp Foil Bake" and @flyfisher530 "Skottlecorn" (popcorn made on the Tembo Tusk Skottle). This trip was all about the journey, seeing some epic parts of Oregon and hanging out with good friends. After this trip, I made my way further north to Canada to hit @EPIC-4WD for a Kraken install. That will be in the next video. #overlanding #camping #carcamping #oregon #oregoncoast #offroad #jeep #wrangler (Episode 29 - 4/20/23)

So glad you liked it! It was a fun trip - a real whirlwind through Oregon capturing the beach to Mount Hood. And, I couldn’t have done it with two better dudes! Mike and Ed are pure gold! Thank you for watching and for the comment! 😃
I love Oregon! I was born in Ashland. My sister still lives there. I'm down in Humboldt County now. When I lived in the Redding area it was a quick trip. Jet boating on the Rogue River was awesome! Such a gorgeous area! Down into the northern end of California too! Mt. Hood is beautiful! But I still prefer Mt. Shasta 😊

So glad you liked that. 🙏🏻🙌🏼 That song is remarkable - as I was working on editing the drone sequence of Mount Hood in the morning - the song came to me, with the the line, “Praise the mount, I’m fixed upon it. Mount of Thy redeeming love.” 🙌🏼👏🏼🙏🏻

Ya, those are just Midland (I think) GMRS radios. It really seems like many are moving to GMRS now-a-days. Very common for folks to use that out on the trail in groups. 😀😀
