Oregon Coast, Aviat Husky 28 Aug
Ғылым және технология
Right near the CA border. Beach Landing- Copalis State Beach Airport S16. BACK HOME SAFE!
The Finer Points Flight Training App: www.learnthefinerpoints.com/
We shot nearly the entire coast home from Copalis State, WA. (stby for a video) to Fort Bragg, CA. at about 1500' AGL. Always with a tailwind! Epic trip in the Husky.

I liked the music as well.
My first airplane trip in 1959 was Portland to San Francisco. We flew down the coast in late afternoon. Still, probably the prettiest flight I ever took.
Thomas Creek bridge just outside of Brookings Oregon. The southern Oregon coastline remains the best kept secret in the USA. Thanks!

Highest bridge in Oregon @ 345ft.
Flying out of Grants Pass I've done this run many times ... G.P. to Coos bay to Brookings and home.. always a nice ride South Bound...... Thanks Juan for the ride along.
You are about fifty miles from my home. Welcome to Oregon sir, and thank you for the work that you do, both on and off duty.
Beautiful scenery, thanks for taking me along. Stay healthy.
See that is why we choose (read used) to fly, you could never get that amazing view driving along that road or from a boat. Thanks for sharing.
***sigh*** Such beauty! Thank you, Juan!

Good therapy, there’s nothing like the ocean to clear your head. Thank you Captain 👨✈️.
The Oregon coastline is absolutely stunning! Actually from Canada to the Mexico border. Thank you for sharing this with us. 💞

Oregon Coastline…Actually from Washington to California.
I know it’s an old fashioned word, but “dreamy” seems like a perfect adjective. Looks like I’m going to have to take a vacation now!
" used to be home sweet home". Thanks Jaun
Nice. Thanks for the memories. I'm pretty sure I saw a place I made a baby once. 👶
Thanks for the beautiful views Juan!
Magnificent photography of nature's beauty!!
I could watch that for about an hour or ten
Gorgeous area. We love the Oregon coast!
I've been down that road. Such a beautiful drive. Even better in the HUSKY 👍👍😎✌👊
I love the smell of low tide on the Oregon Coast. From time to time huge waves erode those beaches using 300’ long waterlogged Douglas Fir logs as battering rams. It is an EMERGING coastline.

Sure beats the smell of low tide in Boston Harbor, I'll tell you that much! 😂🤣😂
❤️😎Love it. Central Oregon is our home, spend time all over this gorgeous state since I was a wee one in the ‘70’s, was all along the southern portion of the coast just last week.😉 Thank you for sharing.
I had the privilege of driving this beautiful place 3 or 4 times a week for five years. I was working there, and I was late for every meeting. The passes going from I-5 to the coast were just as beautiful. I just could not help from stopping.
America the Beautiful. Can't get any better.
Good job. Waiting for the full Oregon coast trip. Next Northern California coast to.....
Ahhh, the Great Pacific Fire Break…
Glad you’re able to enjoy our beautiful backyard up here in the PNW. I loved flying here back when I had a medical!
Absolutely beautiful!.
I was just there, hiking to the right of the bridge. If I'm not mistaken, tallest bridge in Oregon.
Love this, Juan, thx for sharing! My hubby and I are overdue on a trip to the Oregon coast. Absolutely stunning 😍
If you make it as far north as Florence on the central coast, land at 6S2 and walk to downtown for a great lunch. Or better yet give me a call and will pick you up…..such a beautiful area, all of it.
Beautiful scenery seen the bridge of the railroad tracks and course in my favorite plane be careful my friend God bless🙏 good video👍🛩
Very envious . Flew that coast in 2019. Awesome scenery . Grounded downunder
love it , needed 3 more minutes
Absolutely stunning, thanks so much Juan.
So beautiful Juan thanks for all you do man 👍🏻
That was gorgeous. Thanks JB Take care and fly safe. 🤟🏽🖖🏽
Lovely sir. Remember that coastline with fondness.
Thanks!
I got tailgunners view in a B25 out of north bend to bandon & back when collings had their B17 909 ( r.i.p. ) B25,B24 & p51 here in 2018 what a fantastic flight along the coast.
Love it, thank you Juan !
Nice flight wish I were there with you. I sure like seeing those flights like that. Thanks for sharing the flight with us!

Sure miss living there. I still dream about it. That says something.
Great aerial shots of the coastline there.
Beautiful scenery.
The Oregon coast is unbeatable. Never flew over it, what a cool video!
stunning scenery !!
Beautiful coastline. Thanks for the great vantage point.
Lovely, miles and miles of deserted beaches, well away from the road.
The Oregon coast is just so beautiful!
Thomas Creek Bridge, the highest bridge in Oregon........345 feet. I can't tell you how many times I've been on across that bridge, literally thousands of times. Some guys I know back in the 60's used to take gallon glass jugs of gas out there with a rag in the end and light the vertical supports up.(In the WINTER) I never could walk the 24" walkway that used to be under the highway on that bridge. Heck, it even had a cable to hang onto but I just couldn't do it! Back in the early 60's, before the road was opened, there was a big safety net under the bridge. One time some guys went out there after dark and threw someone over the side that had never been out there and didn't know there was a net beneath him....................Hey, it wasn't me!!!! I had nothing to do with it. Another time some guys were riding their Honda 50's in Thomas Creek and rode back up to the highway without using their brakes. Then they went out and stopped in the middle of the bridge, looking things over.(there was NO traffic back in the early 60's)The last guy to come up was riding a Honda 150 Dream and he hadn't dried his brakes out either. To make a long story short, he couldn't stop and ricocheted off one of the stopped Honda 50's. The crash threw him over the side of the bridge rail to his belt line! He says he can still picture his sun glasses disappearing into the void below!!! Life was good when we were bullet proof!!(:>) Another bit of trivia. A few years ago, the state was repainting the bridge and some old guy with an incurable disease hired a taxi to take him out there. The taxi dropped him off on the North end of the bridge and he walked with his cane back to the middle of the bridge. He took his glasses off and set them on the rail and jumped. There have been several jumpers on the bridge over the years and none have survived.(:
Beautiful. And somewhat smoke free
Thank you for sharing this!
beautiful!
Amazing scenery....
Great Video Juan Thanks for sharing
Beautiful.
Beautiful !
I was wonder which part of Oregon you were at, until I saw the Thomas Creek Bridge. Yesterday was a beautiful day for flying around Crescent City and Brookings. I hope you enjoyed it.
Thank you!
Soooo beautifullll..!!! 😍😍😍
Thanks for this sir. If I may, I just saw something, a reminder of a film I saw... "Always". Look up "Pete's monologue". That's the only scene in any movie or story that has grabbed me by the soul. Happy trails Mr Browne.
Peaceful

WOW THANK YOU - i fly the new husky in MSFS 2020 and i live in oregon so fly the husky up the coast a lot - wonderful to get an idea what it looks like for real, to compare with MSFS 2020 - also like your idaho videos as central idaho mountains is where i am from so i fly a lot there too
Thanks Juan!!
Just beautiful Juan. :)
I'm in Coos Bay 😎 Hope you had a nice trip; looking forward to the full video
Looks awsome 👍
Thanks for the ride.
Well you boys are flying over my neck off the woods. Smoke fog partially cloudy light breeze 58° in Crescent City
First class audio, video and stills.
Howdy from Sacramento, Juan! We must have just missed you - we were up in Florence, OR over the weekend. Beautiful country up there and soooo green! (And no smoke)
Fresh air off the ocean is always a good choice.
Great video fantastic music, more please.👍😎
I would recommend a turn east to fly up the Rouge River to Grants Pass, then south to Mt Shasta, and a little side trip up and over the Castle Crags granite formations due west of Shasta. The water level in Lake Shasta is at the lowest level ever since it was originally filled. Redding is due south from there, or if you've called ahead and the fires allow you can head east to Chester and lake Almador. Very friendly FBO and rustic motels and eatery. I've made that trip from San Diego to Vancouver several times both ways in my buddy's 1929 Travel Air biplane. Open cockpit, round motor, two wings and bugs in your teeth. Increadable two day trip. The coast route is senic too, but I prefer the inland route. Have fun, fly safe, and enjoy... You only live once Juan.

A nice quickie
Absolutely beautiful!! I've been used to the sight picture of paramotor speeds. What took you 45 seconds to cover in the beginning of this vid would've taken me 15 minutes, lol. We SLOOOW! 🤣
Wow awesome
It's a wild place. I remember heading out late one afternoon driving from Gold Coast headed for Grants past. About three hours in on NF23 as it began to get dark and I hadn't seen another car for hours I thought to myself "I'm gonna meet Bigfoot tonight if I don't get out of here"
Man Juan! Beautiful scenery! Keep checking for your invitation to come fly with you.😜 Have never had the chance to fly out west. It’s on my list and can’t wait to get out there.
My families go to area for a beach day by ourselves. Great view of the tallest bridge on 101 in OR.
Lived 20 years on the south coast Port Orford and Coos Bay. Carpenterville road parallels 101 great sports car and motorcycle road.
Ah, that's better. Thanks Juan
I flew 3394H out of OTH (North Bend) in the 1980’s after long term storage. I was going to say it was one of the last times it ever flew due to extensive corrosion but I just googled the n number and it’s currently owned by the Palm Springs Air Museum and it’s annual is up to date. Never would have guessed that.
Hey that new green-screen in the hangar is working pretty well!
Would love to see footage of the Easter lily fields just south of Brookings!
The best view ever... Did you have your Mae West PFD with you on this flight ?
Haven't been to the Oregon coast in years, beautiful. Need to go back 😜

Looking forward to the full video!
Love your videos Juan. I'm a pilot and musician and I would like to know what the music is for this video...who plays it?
That is a magnificent flight. I made that flight in my RV-4 and it was incredible.

Trying to make up my mind. RV-4 or RV-8? I've wanted an RV-8 for 20 years. I flew the yellow one before the crash.... But I'll end up flying by myself 98% of the time. I've been flying acrobatic sailplanes most of my life. Would you rather have the 4 or the 8 if you are looking for a "sports" plane?
@noyfub

@@christopherleveck6835 I think the RV-4 fly's better, particularly if you fly solo most of the time. However with a passenger the handling changes quite a bit. The leg room on the 4 was a little short for me, I have a 34" inseam, but not a real problem. what ever you decide to go with, you can't go wrong. Good luck.
