Oregon City, Oregon 2019 (Downtown, Parks) 4k Walking Tour
A walk through a few areas in Oregon City, Oregon. We walk through Downtown on Main, up 7th St through a commercial area, then walk through some parks along the Willamette River that are popular fishing spots.
Oregon City is about 14 miles south from Downtown Portland and is known for having a popular community college called Clackamas Community College and being the end of the Oregon Trail. With the exception of Canby, it begins to get rural if you continue to move south of Oregon City.
I took this back in 2019 when I was testing out the wide lens for the iPhone at the same time I did the Downtown Portland Fall and South Waterfront videos, but did not upload it because the stabilization isn't perfect and there was some side to side wiggling. But then after some thought, I realized it isn't as bothersome as I thought it was.

Through your videos i'm getting a deeper vision of Oregon and how it's such a great place to live. Excelent videos congratulations.
I don't live in Oregon City, but I used to drive my dad a half hour to the Providence Hospital & EyeHealthNW clinic there, from maybe around 2011 to 2017, for his medical appointments. We never really touched on any place else in the city, just those 2 buildings, as everything else we just had to pass by to get to our destination. He died at end of 2017 & never got to see 2018. I have not since gone back to Oregon City. Maybe one day I will drive the same route just as a remembrance, because we drove back & forth several dozen times over that course of those 6-7 years. Oregon City & our drive there has since become a nostalgic bittersweet memory.

Thanks and appreciate the comment. I love the fall and winter as well and wished the Pacific Northwest had more snow towards the coast so it would snow in Portland/Seattle

Hmm hard to say because all I know is the Pacific Northwest but living in a quiet neighborhood thats 6 miles or less from a major downtown area seems ideal for me. For whatever reason Ohio is somewhere I'm interested in

Wow that brings back a lot of memories. The politics have made that a sad place. Thankful to be in Texas now! Just had to come look up my hometown... unless you got one specifically on Beavercreek... 😊
