I remember in RCT1, bumping up umbrella prices anytime it rained - business mogul over here......

Loved this game! Used to play the first one all day in my childhood. Actually got me initially interested in my career. Civil-structural engineering. Love to see this come back

wow, I've never heard anybody say their career interest was sparked by a game.

This game is very nostalgic for me. Playing this game with my brother back in the day designing crazy roller coasters. Fun times

I love it SO much! It’s a BEAUTIFUL port once you get used to the controls

I played this from launch on PC till about 2018, at least a couple thousand of hours. I can tell you this is a great port on Switch and did not disappoint. It runs very well so far. Its also on PC and it runs like a dream now. The original still had issues on PC with a modern beefy PC as it was still bottlenecked and now this new version it runs well and easy on modest pc hardware.

I forgot how if your ride goes off track it bowls over the crowd. I love that about RTC3. I have it on switch also. I am doing a huge project making an entirely indoor park with rollercoasters and all.

As soon as I saw that this game was coming, I preordered it! I don't regret it one bit! Fantastic! Really brings me back to the days of playing it on my pc

@@RachelXKnight666 with physical you can: Play the game on any switch you like Resell the game Lend it to friends And it can stay yours forever With digital: Once you delete the game (for storage reason for instance) the e shop might no longer list it & you can never play it again You cannot sell the game You cannot give it to a friend for them to try And it gets real complicated real quick once multiple switches are involved. Say you & your partner have one each, and both would like to play the game

Seeing you play and hearing your voice makes this very enjoyable to watch. It’s soo fun

People started to forget about RCT post 3 because of bad development and how the later games turned out (Frontier had nothing to do with later entries) :(. Frontier did still make theme park like games after like Thrillville and Screamride but then decided to pop out a spiritual successor to 3 which was Planet Coaster. Great to see them release this on the Switch 16 years later though

Omegamario17 I play planet coaster but it’s wayyyyy to intense for me like it takes me an hour to decorate a flat ride so it looks half decent 🤣 I wish thrillville would get a port for the switch it was my favorite game as a kid!

How do u keep the camera from zooming away from the land while building coasters? It’s a pain in the butt! Learning to play this game on the Switch was painful the first day. I’m used to the PC controls.

This gives me hopes for the older zoo tycoons... Wildlife park doesn't cut it and the last zoo tycoon was a disaster

@@davidwhit1393 no. Zoo tycoon made originally by blue fang entertainment. They had three intinerations until Microsoft bought the franchise and made Zoo Tycoon (reboot) which utterly bombed as it was a royal mess. Its like planet zoo, but was originally all Isometric like roller-coaster tycoon. Usually if you'd played one, you'd most likely have owned or had friends who played the other! Zoo tycoon especially had expansions that added marine parks, endangered speices and dinosaurs and it is was very much loved!

the only thing im concerned about is where the scenario designer went

One of the only annoying things is that you can only place one pool tile at a time, making giant pools a nightmare to create compared to the PC version (Unless I'm just doing it wrong)

You deserve a vacation but the greedy side of me happy you are still making videos. Seriously though, take a trip to Bora Bora. You put out a good bit of content, we don’t want you to get burnt out.

I downloaded this game when it arrived on switch and I’ll say the controls on the switch is pretty rough. Prefer to play on pc but like myself I don’t own a pc so this will have to do for now.

The PC version is kinda trash... The game it self is great but the UI is to small and the resolution only goes up to 1080p, I was expecting more of this new version but it's just the same as the old one with a few improvements

There used to be a sign in RCT 1 or 2 you could put in front of the exit that would be do not enter that would allow people to come in the park entrance but not leave.

I'm new to this game and I'm frustrated with the rollercoaster building, I just started building a bit and suddenly it won't let me put in the next piece but no explanation why.

I am having so much trouble placing items using the pro controller. I’m doing something wrong and I can’t figure out what

Loving playing this classic on the big screen. However - am I crazy or has anyone else noticed how annoying it is that there is no button to delete objects while constructing track? And also that the track doesn't auto-cut into the terrain like on PC? You literally have to back out every time and select the demolish or terraform tool, and then back out of that, reselect coaster and continue construction. These are the only two small additions that would make a HUGE difference in play experience.

The Sims 4 has ruined the phrases "expansion pack" & "DLC" for many lol 🥴 I remember playing this game during my middle school yrs...for HOURS and HOURS.

This and Football Manager are the games that i have more hours clocked in, but i´m not gonna play this on switch, mouse and keyboard all the way, the game is also free right now in the epic game store, so...

The mobile version RCT classic is original pc's rct1&2+expansion packs. I play it on chromebook, it's absolutely lovely. You can play it on your phone too but my thumbs are too big xD

trust me, its fun, however if you don't like simulation management games (cities skylines, sim city, rollercoaster tycoon, zoo tycoon, etc) you wont like it.

Nah. But do give us Roller Coaster Tycoon 1+2. It’s already great on iOS. you’re able to build full size sandbox parks on PC, export the save, load up on iOS easy peasy like). But that’s playing a game on a mobile device yuck! Fingers all over the screen? No thanks! So yeah bring us RCT1+2 onto Switch.

Can we stop pretending like it’s so mind blowing that a park sim from PC can play well on console? They’ve been done well for decades now. Any time a developer says they don’t think it’ll control well with a controller, all they mean is they don’t want to bother taking the time redesigning the HUD and mapping the controls.
