I love this list. I love that the Horus engine give a lot of older decks great viability in this already diverse format.

hey bro not sure if u knew this already but if u wanna cut hope harbinger a cheaper option until the reprint hits is hieratic sky dragon, protects girsu from imperm and gy from bystials until u can establish ur babel to protect ur gy. played the deck today and made sky dragon almost as much as photon lord

I always prefered to get babel over crusendo because it offered alot more interaction and still gives you interuption via dingirsu summoning back off skeleton and can use galatea for to get the cresendo for the crackback.

Orcust is just so fun to play ! I am wishing the horus get affordable soon because I am looking forward to playing the deck this format

I want to build this deck so badly the whole archtype just looks so cool i cant resist it

Never got to experience Orcust at its full power but man is this deck fire

Really love Orcust's aesthetics Just wish Horus, SP and the super expeinsive cards weren't necessary to have some success. Using it pure/lore accurate seems so fun

Kinda feel like you should’ve not sent the World Wand in test hand 3 so you could’ve used the Dark Grepher. But either way, solid list dude 🤘🏼 Pretty damn close to what I’m doing on mine too. Great video as always

Im running pure right now. Basically has the same amount of starters but a few less handtraps as i opted to run crossout and called by for the protection… but i still get bricky hands sometimes, not often but it does come up… did you experience this with the horus package as well?

I have personally found the Horus cards to help with consistency. Not only cuz of potential mills with zombie vampire, but more importantly pitching cards like knightmare from hand more consistently and the draw off imsety is always nice.

Play 3/4 extenders, it's much better. The test hand are ok but most of the time, Imagine 1 ash/veiler/imperm on your Girsu, you literally pass the turn. You could play Magicians souls and illusion of Chaos, i play 3x raidraptor straneglanius.

I feel like babel is one of the reasons Orcust was so good in toss. Is there no combos to end on babel with crescendo

what would be an good alternative, if I don´t have sp little knight?

Knightmare unicorn is a solid option. That way your IP has something else to use as an interruption ☕️

Cards like droplets, harpies feather duster, lightning storms. You could also try bystials or crows as more hand traps. And going 1st you could always play something like crossout, anti spell, etc etc ☕️

Gizmek Orochi is my favourite card. Always like to play 60 cards and roughly have 5 special summons.-Kinda broken.

You could play 3/4 extenders and a small PK engine (boots cloack brigandine fog blade in main deck and Bardiche in extra)

Are there any other options other than the horus engine for this deck? Imsety is waaayy out of my budget 😂

With 12 hand traps… do you ever brick? Draw too many hand traps and none of the right starters? Is it frequent? Or at least not frequent enough to that it is worth the risk? Cheers

There is always a possibility to brick like with any deck, but I believe there is already 12 to 13 starter cards, or at least cards that get your deck going. So you’re just as likely to open the hand traps as you are the starters. But no deck is perfect and in testing if you find you need more consistency, you could always add more to the deck.☕️(:

I just needed to hear that! I built a super consistent pure list but it plays 3x veiler, 3x imperm, 3x ash and 3x crossouts for protection from those cards… and sometimes I brick on those but i run so many starters and searches that it’s not very common but possible… i could cut the crossouts for something else but then i open myself up to handtraps as the pure version doesnt play too many extenders :/ I am probably wrong for playing pure but I love the aesthetics of pure. Appreciate the feedback sir! Hope to see more, specially orcust wise
