ORCA VS GREAT WHITE SHARK - Shark VS Killer Whale Amazing Comparison! - Blondi Foks
The most dangerous predator of the ocean, excellent eyesight, unique social behavior and one of the smartest animals on the planet! On the other side, the nightmare of the oceans, its razor-sharp teeth, and the predator responsible for hundreds of deaths each year. So which one is stronger?
We will learn the answer to this question with the videos that you will not see in documentaries! There are very powerful predators in the ocean as well as on land. These predators are at the top of the food chain and are constantly in conflict with each other. In this video, I compared these two strongest animals according to some of their characteristics, such as heating power, weight, swimming speed, aggression, endurance and so on. Thank you for watching.
AGGRESSIVENESS
great white shark vs killer whale..
The most aggressive creatures of deep waters
At the top of the food chain, these two predators have evolved over millions of years and become the deadliest.
When they're hungry they attack anything that moves and get what they want.
how killer whales play with seals, one of their favorite prey.
even if they don't eat them. they kill for fun.
as you can see here, A shark attacking a Dolphin almost as big as itself.
When we think in general, sharks are more aggressive than orcas.
Sharks can smell blood and urine in the water and kill 10 people a year.
STRENGTH
The largest recorded male killer whale was 15 meters in length and weighed 20,000 kg. They are estimated to live for 30 years.
Great white sharks can reach up to 9000 kilos
their bodies are equipped with strong and flex muscles and they can make sudden maneuvers in water
They neutralize and eat their prey with powerful tail blows.
One of their favorite prey, seals, their only way to escape from them is to go land.
orca is much stronger than the great white shark, both in bite force and size.
orcas are much stronger because they roam in large herds in the oceans
BITE FORCE
One of the most important weapons in deep water is the biting.
We know that the strongest bite on land is the Nile Crocodile.
So which creature has the strongest biting power in water?
As you all guessed it is a killer whale.
as estimates show a Killer Whale could have a biting force of 19,000 PSI or more. As far as numbers go, this one is absolutely insane.
No creature can escape from the bite of an Orca.
Besides, the bite force of a shark is 4000 psi.
In addition, sharks have incredible reflexes and can suddenly bite much faster than killer whale.
SWIMMING SPEED
The orca or killer whale, is the second fastest marine mammal, reaching maximum speeds of 56 km/h.
Fastest marine mammal is the common dolphin.
As a dominant predator in the oceans, Orcas have to move fast. However, they typically cruise at around 6 km/h.
The great white shark is thought to have a top swimming speed of 50 kmh.
Their swimming speed is 10 times faster than the typical human swimmer.
In fact, we can say that the shark maneuvers better due to its size.
INTELLIGENCE
Killer whale is one of the smartest animals in the world.
Orcas are highly intelligent, social mammals that have long been a part of circus, performing shows for audiences.
Thanks to the tactics and intelligence they use, the seals cannot escape them.
They are very prone to learning and after dolphins in circuses, orcas are the most used.
sharks are like a predator that locks onto its prey.
it is very difficult to teach them, but very rare species can be tamed.

@@strongestnattyever-videos2247 Yes but they are specifically more ruthless because of their superior intelligence. Sharks are instinctive animals so they don't do much more than what is evolutionary programmed in them. Orcas, on the other hand, are self aware animals, have culture, empathy for each other, and they teach their young up to 15 years and care for their elders, and mourn their dead (they live as long as humans). So yes, they are ruthless because they have the intelligence that allows them to be ruthless on their own accord.

The footage at 2:04 is not showing a shark attacking a dolphin. As a matter of fact, what's happening, is that a young pygmy sperm whale, has nearly found itself beached, as a result of, either, pursuing a meal, or attempting to evade a predator. What people, typically, don't know, is that pygmy sperm whales, possess an ability, similar to that of octopuses, where upon finding themselves in a position where they feel they are being threatened, they can release an inky substance, into their immediate surroundings, from a sac within their intestinal tract. For these whales, however, this substance, is almost indistinguishable, in its appearance, and consistency, to blood. Furthermore, these whales are capable of releasing several gallons, at a time, of this reddish-brown substance, which can disorient, temporarily blind, or otherwise deter predators, and allow the whale, a window of opportunity, to escape from a situation of potential danger. In this footage, this young pygmy sperm whale, has released the contents of its intestinal sac, as a defense mechanism, during its ordeal of nearly beaching itself, unintentionally, and finding itself in the presence of a human. Despite the resemblance it has to blood in the water, what we are actually seeing, is merely the contents of the whale's intestinal sac, as it releases, and clouds the water that surrounds it, giving it a deep, reddish-brown hue. The whale, however, is, actually, completely uninjured, and, luckily, it manages to wriggle itself free, from the shallow waters, at which point, it is, ultimately, able to return, unharmed, to a deeper, and more comfortable environment.

yeah they would. generally only ONE Orca actually goes in for the kill. its the one that flips it over and holds it until it drowns (most species of shark need to swim to breathe as their gills do not move like most fish). and of course the Orca knows this. Another Orca then "surgically"removes its liver. It seems that the remaining carcass is left for other critters to consume.

Orcas love the livers of great white sharks...I have seen before near Cape horn in Africa once multiple juvenile great white sharks washing up with their livers only removed..and when that happens the carcasses release a chemical that warns off other white sharks and all of them left the area for about 4 weeks the scientists said...a pod will absolutely kill a white shark and the liver looks like the tastiest part I am guessing :)

2:17 sharks can smell blood and maybe pee, yes. But they don't care for human blood or human pee. Only blood of fish or other shark prey like seals will attract them. 2:44 Great white sharks maybe can get up to 2000kg, maybe a bit more. But never 9000kg. "Deep Blue", a female White Shark is the biggest filmed White Shark and it is about 6.1m long and estimated weight is over 2000kg, so that is far from 9000kg.
