The only time I ever even had thought twice about this being prerecorded was when he said all we need is buffer during the second boss fight and actually got it.

While they didn't have them in the past, in more recent times Marvel comics have given their Russia a superhero team called the Winter Guard, and while some of its members, such as the Crimson Dynamo, had previously appeared in more antagonistic hero orginisations from russia or even just appeared as a straight supervillain, it should also be noted that there have been no less than 15 different people called Crimson Dynamo in the comics alone, and the Winter Guard have even disobeyed direct orders in order to help protect the world. Black Widow is also technically russian, although she doesn't really have much to do with the country (or even remember much of it, thanks to the program that made her Black Widow), and depending on the canon you look at, that program was sometimes a Hydra or Hydra-associated program, and so she doesn't hold a grudge against Russia or its government in some canons (she also doesn't hold a grudge against modern Russia in the canons where the program was run by the soviet union, as she recognises them as different things).

I keep rewatching old jorbs slay the spire videos and the first turn of the fight from 33:30 actually hurt my head with all the stuff going on. Of all the hard thinking these videos can induce as a viewer, that turn melted part of my brain with all the interactions and choices.

Orange pellets clears all debuffs when activated (play attack + power + skill in same turn). The focus drain is a debuff.
