Thanks guys, I passed G today. It's really short now, about 15 minutes. No parallel parking or 3 point turn. At the end, they ask front parking. Booked at 11:27 am.

Passed my G yesterday at this location! It’s still a short test and was probably 10-15 minutes. From the exam location we turned right and then turned left straight to the highway 10. It was really easy and we didn’t do any parking or 3-point turns. Goodluck to everyone!

The examiner took me to the exact same route except the left turn at buena vista drive , the examiner took me to the right at buena vista drive for emergency stop and 3 point turn. Okay. I took one yesterday at port union and passed. Literally saw a test being cancelled because the driver and her husband was inside their car, masks off. So, if you go for a drivetest, make sure you have your mask on at all times, and it's better not to take anyone else if they don't want to wear a mask. You'll probably lose that $91.

This video is great! reviewed it, took some notes and passed my G test first try. Pretty indicative of the actual test, even though mine had some slight variation.

I am a dual resident of the US & Canada. I passed my G1 and G road test in Ontario in the year of 2018. I no longer live in Canada but I still miss those roads of Orangeville. Thank you for making this useful video.

This video is really nice to watch. It shows how to be calm and to show that it’s a simple drive. I did the test recently and it was a completely different route. At the first stop going out of the parking lot my examiner told me to go right instead of left. So I hope you can make another video for other routes that may happen.

I did my test yesterday and got my G license. The examiner took me through the left route. There are two routes; left and right so I think it depends on the examiner. Would be nice for people to practice on both routes before the test. The right route seems pretty more straightforward cos you would hit the highway quickly

Same route except i turned right at source street, Then she had me do a parallel parking right after i turned right at this stop sign. then right on first street, never went on broadway. exited to hwy 10 then up buena vista did 3 point turn at that same spot and back to the drive test centre. I pass my G this videos are very helpful calmed my nerves and made me less nervous.Thank you!!!

This video was really helpful I watched it a bunch of times and it helped a lot, I passed on the first try! I also bought the GPS route but I was having a hard time using it on the Google map and driving at the same time, it didn’t work as giving step by step directions. But still helpful :)

Thanks for your video. I had my test two a week and i passed. It was very helpful to know the different speed limit on the roads. The only thing i went right on Fourth street, insead of left. Watch out for two sets of left turning arrow. Go in the second one . First one is to go in the street. Thanks again. God bless you.

Took my G test today (Sept 2 2021) and the route was different. But the updated route can be found online with a Google search. Also, I asked the examiner beforehand what the speed limit was when it’s not posted and she said 40 km/h. So make note or ask the examiner before your test!

im trying to find the updated route but all im getting are links from 2018/2019... would you happen to have the link to where you found the updated route? How was your experience at Orangeville overall? The Google reviews seem terrifying.

I have my G highway test at this location in 2 days. Hopefully I pass!!! I heard they may have taken out some of the thing we may have to do due to the large number of people doing their tests but I still should expect the unexpected. Thank you so much for posting this video, as the video along with the comments section is teaching me a lot about what I should and shouldn't do and what to expect on my G test.

One thing I didn’t notice initially. When you exit 401 on Simcoe street, there is a stop sign before you turn left or right.

Some route updates ! 1. At the (3rd street # 2nd avenue) intersection at 6:51 they have now put up the little "ALL WAY" sign under the STOP. :-) 2. BUENA VISTA IS 40 KM/H NOW !!!

i passed today! This video was a huge help, thanks man. And to everyone that has their test coming up, WEAR. A. MASK. The guy beside me didn’t have his mask on while sitting in his car waiting for the instructor and he had to go home! They take it very seriously, as they should. So be smart and good luck!

That’s so true! I saw a guy get yelled at because there were two people in his car and the instructor told him that they should of had masks on while waiting for him inside the car.

@@nyasiae46 from test center straight to highway going north, then 1st st, 5th, back to highway, then Broadway, then back to a few of those streets 2nd 3rd then back to test center...no parallel 3 pt turn or emergency stop...it was like 10-15 mins!

Today was my test at same location route is similar but short She failed me because I didn’t check the blind spot while pulling to the right for 3 point turn, Not checking my rearview in 5 sec, I'm checking around 12-15 sec, not checking left to right on the intersection 2 times All other things good back parking, front parking, lane change, 3 points turn everything was right.

I passed my G2 exit road test today because of this video. Although, I didnt have to do parallel parking, 3pt turn and roadside stop which was weird and I didnt have to drive to the residential part of Orangeville. Only highway and main road only.

@@subhikshasridhar4657 they usually take you right from test centre and then left on hwy 10. Very short drive.. Take you twice on hwy but no parking or stops. Test done in 10-15 min

hey im doing my g test in 2 weeks, I have a question for the uphill/downhill do we have to put the emergency light? I never had to in my g2, or was taught that , I thought they ask you to do uphill or downhill parking not emergency?

@@EvgeniyC I failed my test today. Coz on exit from the drive center towards the drive way, there was a truck standing and I didn't realize that I had to stop way before the end of the exit way to leave enough room for the truck coming in... Completely unexpected!!

@@ap8065 I have given up.. frankly speaking it's chocking to say the least. I have 15 years of driving exp and no accidents back home. But here, unfortunately common sense is the last thing they require. Rather, in the name of rules, driving has become not an enjoyable experience. It's become a robotic experience. No wonder they are now getting into AI based driving assistance. There is nothing called human experience any more. It's just see board and lanes, which obviously a robot should and could do.

I have few questions: a. what is the speed limit when we start the test in side the parking lot at drivetest center? b. where we have 4 way stop sign (which does not have all way stop) are we not supposed to let oncoming vehicle pass straight / right before we go or do we have to treat it as allway? c. if there are 3 lanes (e.g. on highway 10), are we supposed to change lane to middle after taking right even if examiner does not tell to change to middle (because i see right lanes end after some time on highway 10) . A) The speed limit inside the test center parking lot is between 20-25. But note since there are often people walking around, you are free to reduce your speed even more to cater to them. B) If there are 4 stop signs, its first come first go. Remain behind your stop sign until the vehicles have completely passed. Not all 4 way stop signs have the "all way" symbol! So make sure you are looking to confirm where the stop signs are located (i.e if there are two or four). C) When a right lane (or any lane) is ending, you will see the yellow sign (board) showing that. You must change lanes as the one you are in is ending. Dont wait for your examiner to tell you to do that (they assume you can see the board and will do it yourself!).

I read that the reduced tests end at end of June. But expect the unexpected!

So if there is 4 stop sing then we have to count first, second, third like that

I went for a try as explained on the video. Well I was not able to accelarate to 80 as just behind the HW 10 sign they put a speed sign which is all yellow and says 25 😬 so think you need to first slow down to 25 before speeding to 80 in a few secs. I don’t have a sports car 😅 jesus. I better practice there before having my exam next month! 🤪 fingers crossed

In Ontario, yellow speed signs when merging onto highways are suggested speeds. You're okay to go faster than 25.

Video is helpful, but I failed today. The examiner was incredibly rude and he kept yelling at me when I made a mistake and it just made me lose so much confidence, I hope no one has to encounter him. Going to a different location for my next one
